Lascelles hamstring has gone
Just close down the club and set it on fire man. Goodness sake
-
The senior players have been wank tbh, Longstaff looks the only one comfortable on the ball. Joselu and Ritchie have been woeful, and Murphy still looks like he's shitting his pants when he's on the ball.
Imagine actually being let down by them against championship opposition man. It is unreal.
The only reason I even watched this is because I wanted to see Longstaff, Roberts and Sterry.
So sick of the first team.
-
Is there no one in the academy that plays striker that can simply hold the ball up fairly decently.
I genuinely can't believe how poor Joselu is at this. He's not exactly a small guy either. He's taken all the sting out of any kind of build up play, and it's invited pressure and ultimately given these lot confidence.
Damn shame.
-
If this isn't Joselu's level, what is?
It's astonishing really. Danny Graham is showing him up.
-
Joselu is something else man.
Even under no pressure he can't bring the ball under control there.
We have no focal point upfront, which is no good in a 4-3-3. Ruining any chance of any kind of possession.
-
Nice goal, but far too easy. No one picked up his run at all.
-
Schar has offered more in the attack than any of our holding guys have all season
Yup. Seems a naturally creative player. Got that sort of mind, and likes to try things too.
-
I'm enjoying this
It's fun and just refreshing really.
Needed a break from Perez, Diame, Shelvey and Kenedy in particular.
-
This could be a great night for Rafa man with playing these young guys.
I always like to see youngsters just thrown in sometimes. Sometimes it's what brings something out of them, and you just never know.
Longstaff has picked up where he left off and Roberts has got himself into scoring positions and now bagged one.
-
What a goal! It's Roberts this time! Youngsters on fire
Sensational play from Murphy
Great flick on header from Joselu to start the move.
-
Murphy needs to show something tonight. I think there’s a decent player in there somewhere but we’ve not really seen much of it.
He always seem to take the safe option. Needs to try and take people on more, and not get rid of the ball so quickly all the time.
-
Joselu's hold up and link up is letting us down at the minute. Wish he would play with a bit more physicality.
-
We're playing some decent stuff at times.
Really like the look of Sterry at right back.
-
4-1-4-1 it looks like.
Clark in midfield?
Schar is playing holding midfield.
Cheers, can't watch it.
No worries.
Yeah, Schar is holding, with Roberts and Longstaff ahead of him in central midfield.
More of a 4-3-3 setup.

Nasty deflection, but he did hit it well with some power.
-
I like Longstaff man. Let's go!
-
Excited to see some of these young guys play, especially with how well Longstaff did the other day.
Also hope Murphy can get his act together and be a stand out tonight.
Find this far more intriguing than having to watch our usual lot again.

It's cos he's a smart manager who has adapted his approach to the demands of the Premier League. That Nice diamond wouldn't work here. Leicester are lucky to have him.
Yeah, absolutely. Has shown he can go with different approaches. I rate him for sure.
-
Leicester are eight and ahead of the likes of Everton, Bournemouth, Wolves and West Ham?!
Don't understand the constant speculation over that man's job.
Well if Rafa goes there and we are after a manager that knows all of the French players we are insistent on bringing in, then maybe he'll be worth a go.
Living and working down here, surrounded by their fans, I've said the same to them. They're doing alright so why the hate? They reckon the football is incredibly dull and quite defensive, even if they get decent results.
They feel they could kick on again if they had someone in the Klopp/Pochettino mindset but he's holding them back.
Ah, okay. That's interesting.
It's somewhat surprising because the football his Nice team played in France was fantastic.
Featuring Ben Arfa at the tip of a midfield diamond.

The lack of integrity in the sports media in this country is so disappointing.
How anyone can be out here justifying Mike Ashley's running of the club is just beyond me.
Abject stuff.
-
Good looking prospect.
Picks good options and moves the ball in a timely fashion. Very very good traits.
-
Rafa looks like he's not sleeping.
Lining up targets that will never be approached.
-
Pathetic. Two corners after we score both played short
Completely brain dead.
Why are we playing any corners short after we've scored brilliantly from one direct into the box?

Joselu acts surprised when he does something rubbish, as if it's a rarity. Such a depressing guy to watch.
