Lad's got potential but he lacks composure and confidence. Night falls on him every time he gets into the box. But he does have great movement and skill otherwise.

How much are you guys after for him?

With Riviere and De Jong being allowed to leave deals to bring some in must be looking good, because I doubt Rafa would be letting folks leave otherwise, as the squad isn't that great really.

Riviere man ... what a ridiculous time he had here. Just awful.

I like him but was hoping he'd be the back up DM this year. Never felt confident in him as a starter for us this season.

Hope we can get a more polished DM still, but seems a bit hopeful at this stage really.

Was reading up on his situation yesterday. Apparently he is upset at not playing in the number 10 position, which is what he was initially brought in to play. They play in a diamond, but he has since been put into one of the side midfield positions, which he does not feel he is well suited to. This was the case from around the middle of last season.

That latest article says he liked our offer and so maybe we will pay what they ask, as it does not appear to be much more than we supposedly bid. Perhaps similar to what happened with Murphy. He is only 23 years old and had a big reputation at Anderlecht.

Would not be surprised if we pay the fee, as his age scrams resale value. With our transfers I am convinced this is a key sticking point all the time. If they are young and have potential resale fat Mike will allow it to go through.

Kaka wouldn't be saying this if Welbeck wasn't messing up like a dozen Ozil passes a game, also the other problem because Ramsey was running around like a headless chicken forcing Ozil deeper so Xhaka wasn't isolated.

 

Ramsey is talented obviously but he totally imbalances the midfield to the point that Elneny would actually be better for the team, basically Arsenal need a new midfielder.

 

Welbeck though, i was shocked how crap he was and shocked even further when Wenger took Lacazette off and left him on.

My goodness ... Ramsey. That guy thinks he's playing at the park or something. Has no discipline whatsoever.

Wenger knows his team can't defend and still puts Ramsey in central midfield, which he just completely evacuates all the time.

I have seen Ozil play this way so often now I don't know if you can blame the other players still. Last week Ramsey didn't start the game and it was the same thing. I was at the Emirates for their pre-season tournament and even in that setting it was the same thing. Not a fan of his at all. You guys are entitled to your opinion though.

My biggest takeaway from that game is Welbeck is f***ing s***.

He was shocking. So much hustle and bustle that results in nothing. He gets in so many great positions through his own work to be fair, but man does he mess up some great situations.

I don't like him playing off the front man as he tries to do way too much. He was incredibly frustrating today along with so many others in that Arsenal team.

Think Coutinho is brilliant. After De Bruyne and Hazard not sure I'd have anyone else ahead of him as Silva is not as good as he was previously. Also would have Coutinho ahead of Eriksen at Spurs too.

Jesus was left back for the bibs today in what looked like the first choice back 4 of Manquillo, Clark and Lascelles.

 

Rafa took Lascelles to one side at the end and stood coaching him one on one for ages away from the everyone else.
