My goodness
I remenber us trying to sign the Lassoga guy all of one summer and failing at the end. Now he's on his way to Leeds on laon?!
-
If Rafa manages to get signings he wants in at this late stage of the window then he will have proved that things truly are going to be different with him around. It's going to be a fascinating mess.
-
Can I just ask ... has Rafa ever actually quit any job?
He's had a fair few scraps with those in high places but has he ever walked out?
-
Wonder if any of our fans will dare question Rafa if this ultimately goes wrong or will they all just find somebody else to blame as usual.
I'm with Rafa no matter what.
If he wants to move Gayle on it's because he knows that we will not have success with him leading the line this season. Maybe the level of effort in training etc has been ramped up this off season and it hasn't been good for him physically.
We are going to have to be disciplined and graft in order to succeed with the players we currently have, and that is not necessarily a bad thing either. We worked really hard from the first to the last man against West Ham, and it was a great and enjoyable performance.

Well this is all a bit crazy.
Well, we're not in the championship anymore, and can't rely on our quality to overcome teams. Rafa has insisted since we got promoted that this season will need the team to have a great mentality and a hardworking mindset.
Maybe they don't feel Gayle is working hard enough out there, and he might feel he shouldn't because it means it compromises his hamstrings. I can see how things might have gone this way.
This club man ... why this is all only just coming about with two days left in the window is beyond me. Unreal. God help us.

There was a couple of times where he put us into trouble by taking on their fullback. He was fine defensively though and at least he attempted some forward runs.
Chancel Gallas.
Was thinking how his versatility and all action bravery reminded me of Gallas over the weekend.
Love Chancel because though he may make mistakes he will also end up doing so many good things, because he is never scared to try and make things happen. Such a brave honest player.

He was so pleased with himself after he skipped him initially
-
Buzzing for him to get injured on international duty
What a sick individual you are sir.

Undefeated and top of the league

It is really difficult not to overreact when we win, like.
Indeed
This f***ing club kills me! I feel like Kaka, like a damn rollercoaster. Extremely depressed a times (mostly) and above cloud f***ing nine as soon as something good happens
Not sure it's worth it, yet i keep coming back like a beat upped wife with three blue eyes.
Also love this forum, best of the best no matter what category
Keep my name out your mouth son or prepare to be cut.

his only fault is..he have bad reputation.and he is big, young, damn ugly and he tried to press the defender like all other attackers do in rafas system
he is not soft..if he not run...or aggresive..you could tell..uninterested punk..when he bite for the club colours he is stupid c***.i watched today 5 other games and see much brutal colisions,kicks...witout yellow card
give some suport to kid..he is good,he scored twice in 3 days..wtf you want???
This is class. Some fantastic rhetoric

Genuinely think Britos underestimated his hops and speed there
Quite comical how he jumps but doesn't actually go very far
-
The guy is gone for three games. He will likely be shipped out during that period. Rafa will be completely fed up.
-
Allardyce did a good job in the end at Palace like, just like he did at Sunderland.Palace learning the hard way that when you infect your club with Pardews and Allardyces it is a hell of a job to get rid of the disease that festers on and on.
De Boer is trying to get them to play like Ajax which you can't do when you have players such as Martin Kelly starting for you
Why on earth they went for De Boer I'll never know. You don't do that unless you are happy to change the whole team and back him to do so.
These current players have been drilled in the direct game and are not able to follow the instructions to play the ball. You can see De Boer is bewildered by it when he talks about his team.

The elbow definitely flared out. The kid is a goofball man. He will be out the next three games.
The manager tries to give him a bit of game time and he does that?
Let's not forget his time here started off this way, and put us in a real tough place with no striker to start that season.
His opportunity to nail down a place up front in our Championship season was also compromised because he had to serve a suspension at the start.
It's all his own fault he hasn't settled in here man. It's ridiculous.
-
Mitro definitely gone for 3 games. That elbow flared out man ... the guy is an absolute moron.
He will never be a key player as he cannot be relied on whatsoever. The guy is unhinged.
-
Hayden was quality today man. Love the quick ball back to Ritchie in the lead up to the second. Loved our midfield today.
-
Joselu's little touches are so sexy man. He is a classy, classy link up man.
-
Rafa won't go out of loyalty to the players he signed. It's the same reason he is unlikely to quit too.
Merino's dad really wanted him to join us for example over Athletico B, because of Rafa. It's already working out pretty well for Merino too. Playing a lot and already showing his worth.
I just can't see Rafa leaving these guys he's brought in in the lurch that way.

Fellaiknee
Stop it

Lukaku is my captain today so that's just perfect isn't it
-
Man imagine if they just backed Rafa man ... we'd be so good. Mike Ashley is so dense man.
Dwight Gayle (now playing for Derby County)

Yeah, after all this speculation and nonsense keeping Gayle might be just as big a nuisance.
