Watch him start for them this weekend and get injured in the 1st minute. QPR are nuts.
-
He won't really play much this year I don't think.

Jack Flash man
Guys I'm taking this very seriously this year.
You will pay for your insults and the manipulation of my sig.
-
Disappointing lack of Kaka giving it the big'un this year.
Staying humble man.
My team is tremendous but I don't want to make guys feel bad.
-
Spurs defence will be good this year IMO.
Added Alderweireld and Trippier.
-
Alternatively, they might just be building up their squad, which would be perfect, because Pardew would end up messing around with things even more, and ostracizing someone for sure.
-
I like Sako, but not sure where he fits in. Perhaps Bolasie is off to Spurs as has been rumoured for a while now.
-
Definitely!
Won't be surprised if it's one of our specific strategies.
afterall Anderlecht missing out on the Champions League this season would have been a huge help in getting the two we got from them.

Nice one man.

You canjust imagine this coaching staff coming in and hearing about how much the players were underachieving, and how bad the previous setup was e.g. no using of the ball for most of pre-season etc.
I can kind of understand the desire to try and see if the new approach can turn thigns around for some of them, but it's going to be tough for us the fans to want to have patience with some of these players man.
He better get the balance right for his sake. Or it won't be pretty if he sticks with players that are struggling to turn it around from before. We're just fed up with them.

Unfortunately it looks like we are going to have to let McClaren figure out what we all already n
Know a about some of these players.
I guess as a new manager he's come in and hasn't held anything against any of them from previous terrible play.
Fair dos I guess. Just hope he doesn't stick with any failures too long for his sake.
If he manages to bring any of the incumbents back from the dead I'll be amazed.

I think more will come in for sure. Another two I think.

I would agree with most of that. Although out of our central midfielders besides the new lads - he's most likely to play an incisive pass. He's by no means good at it but among the best we have.
I think the same generally applies for Anita too, and he receives half the stick on here.
I hope under McClaren the hiding stops. Although I think a large part of it is down to both of them struggling to get around the pitch in the same way YoCabs would struggle.
The difference is that Anita is a defensive midfielder that is supposed to be recycling possession and he does a far better job of constantly showing for the ball and continuing to move into space when he is not in possession. When defending Anita pressures the opposition far more effectively like he is supposed to.
Colback is not a DM and so he should not constantly sit as deep as he does right next to Anita. He also shouldn't get the ball and continuously give it back to Anita, or even worse go back to the defenders, which he constantly does. He also does not press the opposition anywhere near as effectively.
Rubbish player. How we ever allowed him to score against us really is beyond me. More evidence of the hopelessness of Pardew.

Stats stats f***ing stats, did you know you can pull off a fantastic piece of play , defensive or attacking without even touching the ball and it wouldn't be marked on any stats sheet ? They can be used as a rule of thimb but never tell the whole story. The world of stats leads you to Allardyce and Pardew. Can someone pull stats on who won the ball back the most in our team versus the minutes they played?
All this talk of Colback's work rate, passion and getting stuck in really has me suspicious. I never see any of these traits when I watch the games. I just see a little boy that is out of his depth.
I'm writing off last season for many due to the tactics (or lack of) and going off what the mackems at work said when we signed him, tidy, wins it, keeps it simple, rarely wastes possession and can chip in with a goal.
Well when I watch I see nothing of the sort from him, and so if stats should be ignored also, then I see no reason anyone should be in favour of this guy playing games.

definitely faffs about with his hair too much.
If this is the time for him to show and prove then he's definitely screwed himself over by joining a Pardew team.

So we've gone from only buying players in France to only buying players from Anderlecht. Interesting change of direction.
It's the way we keep going back one after the other that is tickling me.

Blimey!
That's depressing. I would have thought that as a winger he'd look more useful going forward from that position, no? Or is it that he would just be more suspect there.
I presume you know his game from when he was at DC United? Would he be a good addition?
I'm sure he does get forward better, and he has recovery pace, would add a lot of speed to our slow team. I'm guessing he played there a bit for Anderlecht, but for DC and Honduras he only ever played on the wing.
He's tricky, has a powerful shot, likes to cut in, can be unpredictable in a good way. Would definitely take him.
Ah, okay. Sounds really good to me.
Honduran footballers are generally a bit mental too, which I approve of. Need more gusto in this team.

The Najar guy can also play at right back, which is good, because we really need cover there.
Hate seeing Anita in that position.

Zaha - Cabaye - Jedinek - Bolasie
Puncheon
Wickham/Bamford
IMO.
After a big defeat:
Zaha - Clog - Jedinek - Zaha
Cabaye
Wickham
We woz brave:
Zaha - Cabaye - Jedinek - Left back
Bamford - Wickahm
definitely going to be the we woz brave lineup. Love the left back in midfield reference. Classic!

Apparent bid of 10m euros coming from "mas", have no idea how reliable. He's a Honduran winger 22.
Not sure what "mas" is, but hey, I'm up for us buying more players, so all good with me.
Honduras paper apparently according to twitter.
Ah, right. Yeah, it's called Diarios Mas apparently. Cool.

We shouldn't loan unless there is an option to buy. Don't think there will be one for Januzaj.
Sunderland are really corny loaning players they will not have a chance to sign. Think they should be above that. That's for newly promoted teams, or lower league teams IMO.
