Barton out for two months with medial ligament damage
Ronaldo replied to LoveItIfWeBeatU's topic in Football
He trains with Ricky Hatton on occasion in his manchester boxing gym. I've boxed for a while, and for every guy who get's put on the path to discipline through the sport, there's 2 who become even bigger, pretentious pricks and wannabe tough guys because of it -
we're crying out for someone like him in the midfield, which probably explains the voting

Les Sealey. What a guy. Remember our home win over West Ham in 96 when he deputised for Ludo. Had a great game that night and spent every spare second engaging with the gallowgate crowd, seemed a real character.

18 months back, when he was still well and truly covered by the 'still learning' umbrella

No mention of being better than Cacapa? Cacapa isn't a starting CB
-
this must have been over a year ago. He was absolute dogshit last season

Faye and Bramble are so much better than Taylor it shouldn't even be up for debate to be honest

Guardian: Shearer clears way to become Newcastle manager
Ronaldo replied to thewellander's topic in Football
I'd take Shearer simply to get that useless irish cunt out of the seat. And he seems to be aware that the likes of Taylor and Butt aren't good enough -
bookies have stopped taking bets on that one

at a push? are you having a laugh taylor is loads better, younger and a future captain. i'd rather play him. .... you're insane
-
didn't last year tbh
-
Why no Martins? because we need a big, powerful, skillful target man alongside our only truly world class player

Super duper Hooper. half the team were out with flu that game iirc, we were bollocks all over the pitch For some reason i can recall the 94/95 season review video pretty vividly. Alan Nielson was playing n'all. Think the next featured game on the vid was a 0-2 loss at Liverpool where Fowler and Ruddock did this proper weird celebration. Strange how you remember some stuff. I can remember watching that vid a few times as a little'un and thinking Paul Kitson was f***ing mint. 94/95: the complete story. ie not quite the Entertainers anymore if Kitson was at that club today he'd probably be a cult hero, moreso than Sibierski tbh. Scored goals, good lad. Had a hell of a touch on him at times. Never quite matched up to Beardsley, Cole and Ferdinand though

the fuck did i manage that

at a push? are you having a laugh

why? what good is being huge? He's a liability
-
Faye and Bramble are both miles ahead of what we have a CB excluding Colo and would both probably make a good partner for him a fit Emre is better than all of our midfielders tbh, same goes for Dyer. Parker would do a better job than Butt certainly. Milner is no better than Duff and not as effective as Jonas or N'zogbia Rozenhal and Onyewu
-
bit of a difference tbh, beating the s*** out of a teammate till unconcious and throwing a coin into a crowd

why, because he ran onto the pitch? hardly the crime of the century is it. Should all those who ran onto the pitch away at Grimsby in 93 (myself included) get life bans?
