Am I right to assume we don’t have a sponsor for our training gear? Watched the Spurs match last night and even the bibs the subs were wearing had a sponsor (Some Turkish delivery company that also sponsors the gear at the training ground)

Are we to all stand our doorsteps tonight clapping or something?
We should all wear fake white teeth and stand outside at sunset with our caps on to applaud -

I mentioned this guy back in October

Fondly remember rumours of the transfercopter being dispatched to bring Brian Ruiz up here one deadline day.
I was devastated when we didn’t sign Maiga -
We do need a young forward to supplement the two we eventually have to start next season so I hope it happens

If Lascelles and Trippier do get sold, who would we give the captaincy to?
Would be Schar

Yeah, I don’t think they’ll go much beyond £15m, I reckon that would be the limit and I think we’d accept that
Going with £15m I reckon - at a stretch with add ons we may get 500k -

So potentially Lascelles, Almiron and Trippier out the door, all 3 been first team regulars which begs the question are we replacing them all in this window? surely must have some deals lined up? I know we have injured players to come back but even thats going to take some weeks/months for them to get up to speed
Could we be in for either Tosin or L Kelly? -

Sounds a talent. Dislocated both knees twice and has had surgery. Hopefully that’s history now.
Will fit in well then -

I disagree with this. MGW is definitely technically gifted and his game - first touch, ball carrying, dribbling past players, outside of the foot passing - is fundamentally similar to Paqueta.
There's an argument that Paqueta is smoother and easier on the eye, but I'd have more faith in MGW in other positions due to being quicker. Both of them have the same deficiencies in terms of shooting IMO.

• Both are capable of playing as a #8 and a #10 and can link up midfield and attack• Have good engines that means they have a high work rate that they use to break forward at pace
• Have good close control to get out of tight spaces and take players on
• Capable of defence splitting passes
Is Paqueta more skilful with the ball at his feet? Absolutely he is. Is Gibbs-White more prepared to chase back and put the extra effort in for the team? I don’t think there is any doubt.
That doesn’t mean they are not a similar type of player that shares some key attributes; however, I am interested to hear who you think both Gibbs-White and Paqueta would be seen as similar to from
the eye test.
I think they both come under the profile of creative midfielders who can easily play 2/3 different positions - I think their only difference may be number of goals - what they try to offer their teams isn’t actually too different - a lot of elements are quite comparable tbf -

Still don’t quite understand why Bayern want him.
I don’t think they have a Sporting Director I’m place? So all transfers are going via TuchelSeems likely considering the Dier signing

Do Bayern have any top quality young CM that don’t get much playing time?
They have Gnabry for RW -

That’s the problem - if they do they won’t as they’ll want better. Almost a case of get to playoffs, miss out and sign him for the next season.
Nah they will take him for £2/3m (not sure how long his contact with us is) - he has prem experience - spent so many years in the area, playing as well as he has done for a while - makes too much sense all round -
Think if Adam Armstrong was now at NUFC (say as a 20/21 year old) he would have been the ideal 3rd striker imo - he needed a couple of loan seasons to get some experience

Fraser doing well at Southampton - got to be someone willing to hoy at least the last £5m - £6m of his wages as an option.
Hopefully Southampton get promoted and take him -

Isn't Kimmich world class? Why would he leave Bayern for here of all places?
Yeah don’t get it at all - would be some coup -

Id imagine it means the fairly serious stress fracture of his back is healing. I mean there are people out there who lose the ability to walk etc after an injury like this, never mind get back to playing professional football
Yeah it’s a really bad injury - have to get it properly healed otherwise it will go again
