We aren’t recalling Minteh back - the whole point loaning him was to gain a years worth of experience - I agree that RW is a priority position though - We won’t see Minteh coming back

Was never a big fan until recently, but have been fairly impressed by him of late. Think he'd be a pretty decent improvement on that specific 'Longstaff' right sides no 8 role

 

Though similar to all of our midfielders other than Bruno, his best traits seem to be around workrate and stamina... Think we have enough of those and not enough technical qualitily!

As a young forward - Jonathan Rowe from Norwich - 20 years old - plays all 3 positions - very two footed - technically really good

Monchi is good at resurrecting careers - did similar things at Sevilla (when the bought a struggling Rakitic from Germany)

He’s good cover for Watkins too - seems to have played every single game this season

Scalvini (20 (incredibly versatile - right sided CB but can play all 4 positions at the back and at 6) reads the game brilliantly - good with the ball

Fofana (24) - literally the ideal 6 - technically superb - quick, strong - has a presence similar to the late Tiote but a far better footballer

Johan Bakayoko (20) - RW - the number 1 choice - quick - eye for a pass - superb shot

Not an advocate of sacking him - let him learn from this season - this season he’s been on secondment - this is what we want our future to be, can you cope with the demands Eddie? Let him go away, learn from it and come back a more rounded and battle hardened manager

A number 6 is absolute must for us going forward 

This and the ability to play a single or double pivot based on the opposition - we have a very good core of midfielders in Bruno - Miley - Tonali - Joelinton - Willock, the lack of genuine 6 is an issue and has cost us this season when we have looked fatigued.

Added to this it would help protect the back line from counters

The right we definitely don’t - only have Miggy and Murphy - you can add Gordon when we have everyone fit - however a winger in necessary and a forward who can drift to the left - I am all for Bakayoko and Mbuemo
