  1. Holy lol we're so bad. Literally just laughed out loud at that.
  2. Pardew out, Temuri in. Save our top-flight status. You know it makes sense, Ashley.
  3. There is no other explanation. He was great, then after a month here, he's become shit. Explain it without our dear manager. His first few games were played at a high level than his average. And his form at Toulouse?

  5. This. He's not perfect but he's not a bad owner at all tbh. Improving our team without spending more than the club could survive losing. But if he doesn't sack Pardew in the summer then he's culpable for the inevitable shit-serving of next season, be that in this division or not.
  6. Players just don't look up for it at all. They have to take some blame for the fuck-ups but the main culprit is Pardew. It's his job to motivate the players and set us up in a way that can get the best out of our best players. He's clearly failing to do that. So badly it's almost impressive.
  7. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2013/apr/23/jurgen-klopp-borussia-dortmund Utterly unrealistic, but I'd give my right arm for this guy.
  8. Yep Tbh i see no reason why under the right coach we couldn't do that with Cabaye and Sissoko in front, oh well. As David Icke said, he'd have been perfect in that 4-3-3. dropping off to pick up the ball, keeping the midfield ticking over, would have freed Cabaye/Siss to roam more. I'm hoping that if another manager comes in, he'll get a chance next season. I think if used correctly he could be a great player for us I wrote something for my shit blog last summer when we signed him basically saying how I thought he'd be a great signing as he seemed like the perfect 3rd CM for our 4-3-3, the inbetween destroyer (Tiote) and creator (Cabaye) that'd allow the latter to really let loose whilst helping the former keep us solid defensively. Criminal that it's never even been given a chance to happen. Can only assume Carr signed him thinking he'd fit into our system perfectly and then Pards has promptly changed that winning system.
  9. PEA would be good, Carroll I wouldn't mind, both would be brilliant. Having 3 strikers that I wouldn't mind starting for us would be awesome, especially compared to the Shola situation we've got now.

    Alan Pardew

I don't think we are "easily" a top 6 side but we should be running Liverpool and Everton very close. As you say the weak link is painfully obvious. Perhaps not squad-wise, but I think our first 11 is very very strong. Also just watched the BBC interview. Just don't believe a word that comes out of his mouth anymore. Shoehorning in references to Thursday whenever he could.

Perhaps some players have been slightly overhyped, but I don't for a second believe that they're shit. They're all really talented footballers who are being woefully misused. On paper we're easily a top 6 side. The weak link is painfully obvious.
  12. Might get shouted down for this but thought Di Canio was going to be a good coach from seeing his Swindon team. The fact that he's gone to the mackems hasn't changed that. Seems a good motivator and likes to attack, would rather have that than what we've got atm, political leanings aside.
  13. I can't see him replacing Pardew with anyone better though. Bargain basement Mike, dishing out on a decent continental coach? Exactly. What if they ask Carr for his advice on this front ?. See no reason why we couldn't go and get a bargain coach to go with our bargain players. Bargain doesn't mean bad by any means.
