  1. Its now a HALO I'm beginning to think you're actually just on the wind up with the over the top Keegan worship.
  2. He was right in this court case. But how right was he to just give up on the team and cause so much damage over his sacred misplaced principles? Seemingly for some people it's more important that Keegan won his trial. Its the final nail in the coffin for these cunts that own and run our football club, pretty much what most people on here gathered anyway apart from the AKA crew who just hate KK full stop. Fucking plebs. If that's aimed at me then take a look at my posts in this thread, you'll see I actually think Keegan was right and Ashley's a cunt, but just not enough to warrant a £25m settlement.
  3. Because he was claiming for his wages until he was 65, and he was claiming for 'stigma damages' and I'm pretty sure he claimed a little extra to pay for a PS3, as he had nowt to do since they totally sacked him. There is fella in here Quayside who has posted why the claim would be so high, check it out. .. what? He's telling you to go read Quaysides posts on this. It would seem he has some legal knowledge. Of course, you knew that already. There are no posts in this thread by a user called Quayside, and no, I didn't not understand his post in the first place at all. I'm finding your petty jibes a little ridiculous, why are you unable to have a debate about something without being so petty? What was petty about that? Bit sensitive aren't you? I just don't see exactly why I should be repeatedly insulted for having a different opinon to you. Insulted?! Give over, man. Stop being so fucking precious. You're a grown man. FWIW, I think your opinion is nothing more than an exercise in saving face. You're gonna have to expand on that one, whatcha mean? I'm pretty sure your attitude towards this whole affair has been that Keegan was in the wrong. Now that it's been proven he wasn't, you've adopted your 'well he's a thieving cunt' stance. Ok. Well I certainly didn't want him to walk away from the club, and really wish he had managed to get on with the job, even with the most inept boss in the world. This tribunal has really shown Ashley up for just how fucking awful he is at his job, and just how shit he was at choosing his staff. I personally just wished Mr Keegan would've stayed for longer, just to ensure that the first team didn't go to shit and then leave at an agreed and more convenient time. Obviously he deemed it untenable, I just wish he hadn't. The detail of his tribunal has changed my opinion on that definitely. However, this doesn't change my opinion on the compensation numbers. lol but if u dnt think kegan is acshully jeesus then u is dumb lol
  4. One thing I will say, is if we're going to discuss this can we at least do it like adults? The name calling and petty little jibes are getting a bit pathetic.
  5. Was this ever in doubt? i couldn't believe people were doubting the man and taking Ashley's side in this case. There was a third side, the club itself, which some people felt more important than either Keegan or Ashley. It's hard to understand I know, everything has to be black and white for some. This. Future of the Club >>>> Who was right or wrong in the Keegan/Ashley stuff Unless you're Keegan, that is: in which case you've been accused from all sides of being a spineless dummy-chucker who eats babies for supper. I think I'm missing your point, what does the fact that KK's been attacked a lot over the last few months have to do with the fact that the club should be before any legal squabbles? From a fan's perspective, aye, but people who claim KK shouldn't have gone through with the case for the club's benefit are living on the fucking moon. Well then I'll have to disagree. Think he should have put the club first, especially in the state we're in. Either way it's over now, would be nice if we can all just put this all behind us and concentrate on getting promoted. Shearer loves the club, should he have worked for free to stop the club going down? Should Taylor be working for free to take us back up? It'd be nice, but it's a mental idea to think it could happen. OK was fucked over, the fact the club were in a bad state doesn't lessen his entitlement. Shearer and Taylor aren't trying to get £25million in one go. Club being in a bad state doesn't lessen his entitlement, which is why I'm happy with him getting the £2m he deserves.

FWIW, a price of £2m seems reasonable in order to discover the truth. Aye I have no problem with him getting £2m, just the fact that he supposedly went for £25m that doesn't sit right with me. Could have really screwed us over had it gone through.

  10. Well at least it's not £24 million that had been thrown around. Would still rather Keegan had left it alone given our situation, but it's over now hopefully we can move on past this and not have to worry about any more money being drained from the club.
  11. So are we supposed to be excited about anything at the moment?
  12. "He's called the modern day Duncan Ferguson up here". ...is he?
  13. Doesn't prove he's any good, though. Really don't see what your point is here, are we in a position to get a proven manager?
  14. Hughton has done well but he isn't a manager. Best time to take Shearer would be now as it'd give him time to get used to it in a piss easy league and give him time to adjust before the January window. Anyone that's taking the 8 games he had at the end of last season as any sort of indication of his managerial ability is an idiot; it was the definition of thrown in at the deep end. Considering the state we were in and the moral of the team I doubt there are many managers out there that could have pulled us out of that rut.
  15. Solid player, classy on the ball, gets forward well.
  16. We're only NOW home and dry, in the 93rd minute when we've been 4-0 for 40 minutes?
  17. Thought that for a second, think he said "could have been pressed a little more" not "could have impressed a little more"
  18. Really hoping that when (not if) we go up players like Nolan and Smith can at least keep this up and not go back to being shit and out of their depth. They could at least be good squad players if they keep their confidence up like we have atm.
