  1. Charity walk between the two stadiums is class, great idea
  2. Very confident that today marks the beginning of the turnaround. But whatever happens, Howe is still the man.
  3. I have absolutely no idea how FFP works, but remember reading @TheBrownBottle be adamant that any spending this window won't have any impact on the next due to the way the way it's calculated by season. If that's true we might as well spend whatever we can now?
  4. Anyone seriously advocating for replacing Eddie Howe with the 2023 versions of Jose or Conte has some serious self-hatred issues to work through.
  5. You're really not coming across as reasonable as you think you are.
  6. This has been explained to you a few times, but sure I'll bite. The freak (read: UNPREDICTABLE) injuries (multiple broken bones, dislocated shoulder, gambling ban etc.) meant that in hindsight, yes he could've rotated earlier in the season, but by the time this had happened, the unpredictable ones have tied his hands. I did say I can see the argument for just throwing the youth in anyway this month, but you've ignored that, so thanks.
  7. @Ronaldo here's another two from today if you want. Thought the first might be joking and then saw all his other posts this month. You could argue the latter isn't explicitly calling for his head but I think that's a pretty generous take. These takes are out there, but thankfully aren't that widespread.
  8. Lad with a Sven Botman Terminator avatar - don't remember the name but he had said that it was time for Howe to go a few weeks ago. There have been others too, but I don't keep a dossier.
  9. The not training has only been in December. Villa are playing part-timers and not Mbappe. Howe's "decisions" have been limited due to the freak injuries, which have meant he can't rotate. Can see the argument to just go with the young players anyway, he obviously has his reasons for not doing that, but can see your point. Not good enough at this level is a silly statement. He's had his hands tied behind his back and some started getting antsy at a point where things were really just not that bad. Until the recent poor run in December we were right behind Man City - the poor run in December has come about due to the sheer number of games and not being able to train, and having no squad rotation possible. Expectations have gotten out of control. January will be a nightmare due to the fixtures we've got, but judging him on this season so far is just wrong given the actual context. Give him a chance with an actual squad in the second half of the season - I'm confident we'll start climbing the table again. Comparing him to Pardew is honestly not worth discussing - most people could see he was bailed out by great players and it wouldn't be sustainable, this is just not the same in any way. I know you feel strongly about this and feel like you're being shut down, I feel equally as strongly that you're way off of the mark and have tried to go through each of your points respectfully. I'm going to bed
  10. Wish I could say the same.
  11. Feels like the majority of the two "sides" are fighting about things that aren't happening A very small minority are calling for Howe to be sacked. A very small minority are saying you can't have any criticism of the manager. Neither of these views are that widespread from what I can see.
  12. This is literally fanfiction. The players are running themselves ragged for him, constantly talk about how great he is for their individual games, and you've somehow spun it into him losing their support. Wild.
  13. This is the bit I continue to disagree with you on. It's just not that bad. We massively overachieved last season, we're underachieving this season but for fairly clear reasons. You can and will be disagreed with when people disagree with you mate. I don't know where this sense of vindication has come from when the issues that have led us here are still present.
  14. They put a graphic up before the game of the games we'd lost and went through the number of marginal moments that resulted in defeat - it has knocked our confidence - but for marginal moments we're in the semis of the LC and CL knockouts. Even today we hung in there under immense pressure. Almost feel like I watched a different game from some - they hammered us all game, we're nervy and tired but we were fucking resolute.
  15. Maybe you could write another letter to Amanda, I assume the restraining order has expired by now?
  16. I still fully support Eddie Howe. There are a limited number of mentalists who think he should go. The majority of the critical side still think he's the man to turn it around but are getting worried. I understand that position and respect it. There are a limited number of that side who also seem to be losing their fucking shit every time they get disagreed with, acting like they're being silenced. You're not being silenced, you've posted an opinion in a public forum, and other members of that forum have told you you're wrong. Argue back, don't start crying about not being allowed to criticise.
  17. Anyway we played better than we have recently. Green shoots. Both deserved to lose but also unlucky given the resilience and fight we showed. Proud of the lads. Onwards to the derby, play with that level of determination and we win it with ease.
  18. Who are these weird little freaks booing? they won ffs
  19. What a weird decision. He was through for a tap in. Why bother diving. Weird little man
  20. Sigh. Wish I didn't allow myself to hope
