  1. Fucking brilliant from Murphy there.
  2. Happy with that team, very strong bench. Let's be avin em
  3. I feel like anyone who watched the game can see we looked out of energy, second to every ball, losing every 50-50. There were signs of leggyness against Wolves too so this hasn't come out of nowhere. I have no idea why Bournemouth weren't equally as tired given similar fixture congestion, but I also know what I saw it's not the sole reason we lost today but seems disingenuous to pretend it wasn't a factor just because they "should" have been as tired.
  4. Like it's completely rational to be fucked off with that result and performance, but the desperation from some to catastrophise every time the team has a bad result is utterly tiresome. It's exhausting when we're having a normal run, it's especially embarrassing when we've just won 9 in a row and sit in 4th. It's just so transparent that some have been sat waiting for a slip so they can blow their misery loads. It's going to get called out because it's fucking laughable
  5. Maybe I'm being overly generous, but we looked leggy against Wolves and especially so today - taking whether Bournemouth should be equally as tired or not out of it, fatigue looked a factor for me. Combined with Bournemouth playing very well themselves of course, all credit to them
  6. We did try. You don't appear to be handling it well. Curious.
  7. Agree, and that's perfectly reasonable tbf. We came up short today, second to every ball - I suspect a lot of that came down to fatigue. Just didn't look on it. Bad day but not indicative of our whole season and doesn't undo how brilliant a run we'd been on
  8. A super reasonable outlook from a calm person
  9. It's mental "disgusting", "sick of it" - Jesus fucking Christ
  10. Pampers stock through the fucking roof when they read this post. Buy now.
  11. Exceptionally frustrating game against a very good team who were flying as much as we were going into the game. Always annoying to drop points at home but find it hard to get on the players backs tbh. It's been a great run but a step too far after a match on Wednesday night. Feel like we need to reach an understanding that the other team are trying to win too and it's not always that we're fucking shit when things don't go our way. A really bad day for most of our players, but it happens. Bounce back next weekend. Still maintain anyone getting into the players or Howe after today needs to look at the results over the last 2 months and have a proper look at themselves.
  12. why don't you write Mandy another letter Stiffles, I'm sure she'd love to read your totally rational takes
  13. You didn't post once during our resurgence except to whinge in the Gheui thread. You're not even trying. We've got some top quality WUMs who put the work in around here, get on their level you absolute melt
  14. Agreed. There's a difference between that and reverting to "HOwE hAs NO plAn B" though
  15. So after winning 9 on the trot we're having a bad day at the office. It happens. Anyone pissing their keks over this should be embarrassed
  16. We can still win this if we get the next goal imo. Crowd could carry us to a 3rd in that scenario. Need to wake up and stop being so fucking sloppy in defence
  17. Blow the whistle while we have the ball on the edge of their box?? This fucking ref
  18. I was trying to think how to phrase it and that's it perfectly. Every bobble seems to break for them perfectly, so frustrating
  19. This one is the real test, unless we win in which case Southampton away is the real test. We'll only know what the real test is for sure once Eddie "the fraud" Howe fails to win a game.
  20. I'm sure @Heron and the others in Wor Flags who do such stellar work don't need input from the likes of me, but for the love of god please don't start putting this AI-generated noncery on any flags
  21. Great from a PSR and squad progression perspective. Sad personally as I love Miggy, never gave anything short of maximum effort, and will always remember him for scoring our first CL goal in decades. Him going back to a club he's revered at feels like a great move for him, so this deal works all round. One of those you'd hope will always be welcomed back by the fans and remembered for his significant contributions
