  1. Lovely stuff overall. Dominant. Loving how much we've been creating the last few games.
  2. God we're playing some utterly sexual stuff going forward
  3. What a good half. The midfield 3 look fucking lush. Maybe it just needed a bit of time to gel but night and day from earlier in the season. Moving Sandro to the base has been a masterstroke
  4. Wonderful performance. Just what we needed to get a bit of a buzz going again Takeaways for me: - Sandro has to start every game in the middle of the 3, he's great there and Bruno is able to make some fantastic passes through to Isak and Gordon. - When Gordon is on it, the whole team looks better. He was unplayable today going forward and back. Whatever we have to do to get the best out him regularly has to be prioritised - has to start every game on the left. - Lewis Hall is fucking incredible. So young too. What a player. - Quite telling that Burn got the armband instead of Trippier, and Tripps didn't take any of our set pieces. He's gone in Jan imo. Shame it's ended how it has because he was a transformational signing when we needed it most. - Our attacking set pieces were brilliant, some really clever moves and I'm so happy to see us get 2 goals from them. Don't want to get too carried away as Leicester were really bad, I do think a lot of that was down to us being so good though. Completely smothered them. Roll on Brentford. 4 points off 4th and in the semis of the league cup before we play Ipswich would be lovely stuff.
  5. I'd like to see Osula come on now. Give him 30 minutes against a weak team and see how he gets on
  6. Fucking easy. Get in. Love that we've scored from 2 set pieces
  7. What I'm probably most encouraged by is how up for it the players look against a weaker side. Snapping into everything. What I want to see every game tbh, not letting teams breathe
  8. Weird game. Been totally dominant, could be 3-4 up on another day. Worried it'll cost us, it's set up perfectly for Jamie Vardy ruining an entire stadium's weekend. Still, more of the same in the 2nd half and we should be fine. Liking that Sandro is sitting at the base of midfield, Bruno able to play some lovely passes further up. Our passing and moving as a team has been class, really pleased with that
  9. Happy enough with that team. Worry we'll miss Pope but should have enough going forward and off the bench to win this
  10. A lashing out from consistently N-O's worst poster (and what a fucking field he's competing in) should be taken as a badge of honour tbf.
  11. First half performance was great in terms of creativity and cutting them open, felt like real green shoots let down by some diabolical decisions (Isak and Barnes). 2nd half was grim. Still think Howe is the man and will sort it out given time, the signs are there imo, but no doubt that will be a minority opinion on here.
  12. Pleased with how we're playing overall. Love that we're making chances and causing them problems, far cry from the Palace game. Frustrating how casual we've been gifting them chances and Isak not taking his after doing all the hard work. Good signs imo but need to get our heads on straight and stop fucking about
  13. God we're so fucking casual and it's cost us twice. What are they fucking playing at
  14. Can only assume it's a fitness thing, but I'm gutted to see Sandro back on the bench. Had to start every game now. Barnes in for Gordon I'm okay with

Not really sure on the distinction there. If he can't back that message without diluting it then he shouldn't captain a premier league team - representing the club in that way is part of the job. It's not a comment on his leadership ability.

It's every player's right to refuse to wear the armband if they don't agree with the message (just as it's our right to think they're a hateful cunt for doing so). However, publicly supporting the message that the armband represents (that everyone regardless of sexual orientation is welcome at a football match) is something that a captain has to do regardless of their personal beliefs. They need to set aside whatever their own view on it is and support the inclusive message that the club and the league have signed up to. If they can't do that, they shouldn't be captain. They're not being forced - if they accept the captaincy this comes along with it and if that's a dealbreaker for them, they aren't captain material.
