  4. We still need a proper number 9, and two proper wingers.
  5. Dutch football journalist Hugo Borst has just stated on Dutch TV Siem de Jong to #NUFC is 'nearly a done deal'.
  6. Why dont they just sign Ochoa on a free?
  7. France structure and balance will be the reason they win IMO, but yeah it should be absolutely class. Think Germany would sweep them aside. Can't see it, there's so many clear issues with Germany team that i can't see them sweeping aside any good team. Plus if i can see it, its obvious any professional manager in the KO stage of a WC can see it. What are Germany's issues? No recognised striker or presence up front and a lack of fullbacks? Their midfield is the best in the tournament though. Think that Muller fella disagrees. Fair play.

  9. The only reason we still have Pardew, is that the slimy cunt will work under any conditions and we are too tight to pay him out.
  10. I think 20 - 25 mill. Many on here could have told you, he was a good signing at half that price 2 to 3 years ago.
  11. We are a fucking sinking ship alright. Genuine relegation fodder.
  12. I think Jenkinson is pretty good. As good as Clyne.
  13. Ive played in 40 degree heat before. Its not as bad as is being made out and these guys are professional athletes.
  14. the yellow is the white one, after the chubby fucker has sweated it up a little.
  15. Yup, Townsend is a terrible player IMO. Poor mans Laurent Robert. To even mention them in the same sentence is disrespectful A terrible player? Townsend's basically a better version of Jonas when we bought him. £14m is f***ing ludicrous, like. Hes got a better shot on him than Jonas.

    Soccer.

it's shameful. Especially since most of these types won't watch any soccer after the World Cup finishes. I'm returning to the States in a few days, think I'll try to catch the game in the local AO chapter pub. Hopefully won't be as bad as that, but I'm already dreading the chants. The World Cup is bringing out plenty of idiots to watch these games. I enjoy the atmosphere but god damn there are some morons spouting s**** the entire 90 mins. Its the same in Australia, these dick heads on facebook are all of a sudden licking Matthew Leckie's arse when they had never even heard of him before the world cup.
  17. Lallana is a fantastic footballer in the premiership, but I rate Cabaye alot higher.
  18. Ochoa Aurier Hummels Sakho Lahm Matuidi luiz Gustavo Robben Messi Mueller Benzema
  19. so the point was made about peppe earlier, on his 3rd headbutt in the game or whatever and gets a 1 game ban...total bollocks he hardly touched him though, yes there was intent there, more as intimidation than to hurt Mueller. It doesn't matter, at least in the Premiership. I hate bans personally, I think they ruin the sport for the most part but anything regarding violent conduct should be treat seriously. EDIT: When I say I hate bans I mean for things such as picking up 5 yellow cards etc. I suppose it is a difference in opinion and I understand your point of view. I also watch alot of AFL here in Australia and the suspensions are judged upon the intent, the area of impact (head, throat, body etc.) and severity of impact. I suppose any violent conduct involving an attack of a persons head does deserve to be treated more seriously. I have no sympathy for Suarez though, he got what he deserves.

  21. Not sure about zero experience, wasn't he pictured along with Pardew and Kinnear in some airport this time last year? (Heading to France, apparently.) He conducted the financial aspect to deals with Llambias previously. So he has some idea.
