Dawson is much better than Williamson. He is, but at least Mike Williamson knows his limitations.

The Battle For More Points than 2010/11 - SUCCESS!
aussiemag replied to Taylor Swift's topic in Football
Should really get 7 points from that. Yeh minimum 7 points from those fixtures. -
Its 3 points in the bag, but after a decent first half performance I expected a better second half. I think if we sneaked a 3-0 lead, Pardew would have gone all out attack with HBA and Cisse. Its sad that he feels the need to sit on a lead against a genuine bottom 5 side.
-
I thought he was poor. His passing was indecisive and often backwards, he gave away a few free kicks, and to top it off his shooting was abysmal.
-
Yeh it's shit. Should have had HBA and Anita on at around 60 minutes.
-
I'd like Anita and HBA on soon for Tiote and Sissoko.
-
Terrible today. Anita would eat this lot.

Horrible lineup, especially for a home game against Norwich. that right hand side isnt very creative at all with Sissoko and MYM. If MYM was right back, its perfect for HBA to play Right wing. -
Yanga-Mbiwa would have a chance as the 4th centre-half after Varane, Sakho and Konscielny?
-
Until we get rid of squad players like Shola, Jonas, Obertan, Marveaux etc. they won't be replaced by better/new players.
-
Yeh 4 spots for Asia is enough, might have been harder for Uruguay if the game was in June, considering the heat and humidity of the middle east. Australia got beat there 2-0 ( yes we are shit). Realistically Japan, South Korea, Australia and one other is enough.

Bum rape going to happen here. Jordan are shit.

2014 FIFA World Cup Brasil™ - Europe vs. America
aussiemag replied to LucaAltieri's topic in Football
Apparently they're planning on only playing the America players since it's at the Azteca and they won't need cohesion as well as playing in altitude. Think it's a great idea, look at Spain for example, their whole team is composed by Barca and Real players. I have no doubt that Mexico will go through in a decent fashion. Alright, but Real Madrid and Barcelona are the two best teams in one of the world's top three leagues. Meanwhile, the Mexican league has to stop matches because people are firing automatic gun outside. There is some difference. I'm talking more about cohesion, it's not like they aren't twice as good individually as the New Zealand players anyways. You could say about most countries compared to us tbh, one thing Herbert can do right is park the bus and grind it out against better teams. It's against the Island nations who we should be passing off the park we struggle the most. If we can 0-0 it (or somehow get a score draw) I would back us to finish the job at the Cake tin, but if we need to come from a decent sized deficit or go down a goal early tommorow morning we'll get steamrolled Think you're being harsh on you team pandamninator, I think New Zealands got a good chance in this tie. Young Storm Roux looks quality, Mcglinchey is severely underrated and can cause them all sort of problems. Smeltz is getting back to sharpness. Barbarouses is always threatening. -
We won't sign anyone mate, better get used to it. I said "if" mate. Just making the point with 3 good signings we could be alot more consistent,

Too early to be drinking. Not in Oz! Marmite ? Love me some marmite.

I agree, his passing under pressure is poor and will cost us goals. His positioning is also poor at times. Still hope he can improve.
-
If we could sign Remy permanently, Tom Ince, a beast centre-half, a young right back and a striker who can hold up the ball. Wed be in very good shape. Thats 4 major signings though :/
-
I'd go for this: Krul Santon. Willo. Mbiwa. Haidara Anita HBA. Sissoko. Cabaye. Gouffran Remy Tiote and Ameobi will obviously start though.
