William Gallas has just joined my local A-league side Perth Glory for the season. Anyone remember how good he was for spurs last season?
-
I see the problem. This guy is our club captain and we are playing one of the most important fixtures of our season this weekend. He should be with the squad, supporting them, offering advice and encouragement. The fact that he pisses off back to Argentina is just wrong.
-
In context it's a good result we can build some momentum from.

Krul Debuchy Williamson ?? Santon Tiote Cabaye Sissoko HBA Gouffran Remy Let the front 3 interchange positions throughout the match. Hopefully Coloccini is fit, if not Saylor. I dont want to see Dummett playing centre-half when hes a left back. Its too big a game for Good to make his EPL debut as well.
-
Cisse dropped again according to NUFCFANS. Apparently Remy is taking up the central position
-
Would love to drop Cisse and play Hatem in a false 9 position. Means we would have to move a lot more and be keep the ball on the ground more. But I think with Gouffran and Remy out wide they are both wide forwards capable of making the formation work. I'd go like this. Krul Debuchy. Williamson. Mbiwa. Santon Anita Cabaye. Sissoko Gouffran. HBA. Remy

Wasn't he close to going to Norwich before the window shut? Anyway I thought he was poor apart from the goal. Though he barely played in Serie A last season. Give him Half a season. Doesn't look close to being as good as the likes of Marveaux or Sammy.

Rami is off to Milan.

Apparently England to play Australia at Wembley next month, provided England are qualified for the World Cup. Will be good to get the confidence up like France did, we are fucking shit. May get a response from the new manager whoever it may be, but well still get beat convincingly.
-
Played against Chris Herd (Aston Villa), Rhys Williams (Middlesborough) and Eli Babalj (AZ Alkmaar)
-
Australia going to get a right bumming.
-
he'll teach the kid how to drink thats for sure.

Hilarious I actually laughed at that, found it pretty funny. It was funny.

Loan him out for longer earlier like nearly every other PL club does with youngsters. Clubs down the pyramid have their squads in place now and have done for a month or so, it would seem obvious they're much less likely to take someone extra on at a cost now than during the summer. That's all well and good, but, considering our 'transfer policy', would it be wise to send all of our youngsters out on loan before the window closes? I think more clubs should look to loan youngsters out to the A-League, its comparable to a League One/Lower Championship standard, would be good for players to experience a new country and further there personal development. Or they could just send them to said lower leagues where they'd be easily kept an eye by scouts, get used to 'English' football, and not be attacked by dingoes. So learning off experienced pros like Alessandro del Piero, Shinji Ono, Brett Emerton and Harry Kewell to name a few, in a televised league. Would not be more beneficial to going to a league one side? Ian Bell claims spending a year in Australia studying and playing grade cricket made him the player he is today.

I think Poyet is a good appointment and the best they've made in a long time. Think they have a far better chance of staying up now.

We cant continue with Williamson in the centre of defence, we will be destroyed by both Arsenal and Liverpool. HBA needs to start on the opposing flank to Remy with either Cisse/Gouffran up top. I dont mind the midfield 3 of Tiote, Sissoko and Cabaye for the big games. Tiote seems to perform against the better sides, happy for Anita to come in against lesser opposition.
-
he did barely anything wrong the whole game, and was calm and composed on the ball when he had to be. Excellent performance from a centre half.
-
Thought he was excellent yesterday.
-
He seems to run himself into trouble too much and his passing can be a little slow at times. Still see massive amounts of potential in this guy though.
-
First half brilliant. Second half classic pardew.
