Super fan Not a super fan. Just an ordinary supporter that won't stop going to watch his team because he's not keen on the manager. Clearly an alien concept to yourself. 'not keen' The bloke is dragging us into the championship through his incompetence, I quite simply will not be party to it continuing any further and the only form of protest Ashley cares about is witholding cash. If you want to support NUFC becoming a shadow of it's former self just because you've got nothing else to do on a Saturday, that's your prerogative. I will thanks very much. Meanwhile you can come back out from under your rock when things pick up again. For what it's worth I agree with you about Pardew, but I support the club rather than one individual. I'll still be there long after he's gone. Twice you've said this now. 'When things pick up', 'come crawling back' to what exactly? The free flowing football we've been treated to over the past decade? All the cups we keep winning? The Champions league football we play? What are they coming back to exactly?
  2. I just have zero faith in us beating QPR and I dont see WBA beating Norwich either. I think we're done.

Super fan I was thinking about this 'nufc for lifez!' attitude yesterday. I've had my season ticket for 8 years but if we go down/pardew stays I'll seriously consider giving it up. I'm told by 'elders' that there's been much worse than this. Well, not sure how that helps my decision. Best way I could describe it is, I love the wife. However, if she was a c*** all the time, brought no enjoyment to my life, continually made me miserable, then I'd be off like a shot. Why should NUFC be different? I watch football for enjoyment, something to look forward too. As it stands, the only thing to look forward to is the beer and I really cant see that changing anytime soon. If you don't enjoy it then stop going. Then, when things pick up again you can come crawling back and pretend that you've never been away like one or two who I know who packed in during the Championship season only to come scuttling back last season when we were playing well. Well, I will. Thats exactly what I said in my post. You know, you dont get any brownie points for still going when others dont. Your attitude is a condecending one and i'm really not sure where it will get you.

  5. Our survival pretty much comes down to this game. What a horrible week of waiting its going to be.
  6. Fucking hell this game is so winnable. We need to try and get HBA in and around their box.
  7. Depends on whether they want to have a real go at winning the trophy. They will still qualify for the Europa league even if they don't win the final and choose to focus on PL survival with the mega TV deal at stake. Come on man, they're in the final of course they want to win it
  8. Heart says win, head says lose and relegated. I hate my head.
  9. I think ive slipped in to acceptence mode. I had at the start of the week, but as with every week, by the time Friday comes along ....
  10. Urggh feel ill thinking about this. What a huge bastard game.
  11. A couple of Wigan fans views
  12. Aye, I think its 50/50 at the moment. Wigan still have to win their games, we still have to lose all ours. I'm hoping the players can grow some balls and put in a couple of fucking heroic performances. We just have to sit back and see how it plays out.
  13. I feel fucking sick with this HBA to Spurs talk, sick.
  14. I might watch the Wigan one, I've almost resigned myself to defeat for ours. Being local to the midlands I might go watch the WBA game. I can tell you though that the fans I've spoken to want Wigan to win to send Villa down. That might have changed after last night though ffs. What chance do we have
  15. I might watch the Wigan one, I've almost resigned myself to defeat for ours.
  16. Gary Neville gave some comfort in so much he said the Wigan lads will be fucked going to Arsenal after playing at Wembley. West Brom is the key game for me, if they get beat then I think they might just have left them too much today. Again, this is all on the basis that we get zero more points too.
  17. you think wigan will beat WBA and Swansea? I doubt it. I don't see why not like, they pushed Spurs close the other day and WBA and Swansea have zero motivation to pull up any trees. Well for me, they havent just become a team that can go and gets wins whenever they want. WBA is a tough place to go and they had a great win on saturday. Wigans form is marginally better than ours. Swansea aye, west brom away I dont think so 30 24 March 2012 Liverpool 1 – 2 Wigan Athletic Liverpool [show] 31 31 March 2012 Wigan Athletic 2 – 0 Stoke City Wigan [show] 32 7 April 2012 Chelsea 2 – 1 Wigan Athletic London [show] 33 11 April 2012 Wigan Athletic 1 – 0 Manchester United Wigan [show] 34 16 April 2012 Arsenal 1 – 2 Wigan Athletic London [show] 35 21 April 2012 Fulham 2 – 1 Wigan Athletic London [show] 36 28 April 2012 Wigan Athletic 4 – 0 Newcastle United Wigan [show] 37 7 May 2012 Blackburn Rovers 0 – 1 Wigan Athletic Blackburn [show] 38 13 May 2012 Wigan Athletic 3 – 2 Wolverhampton Wanderers Wigan [show] I'm not so sure. They won when they wanted when it mattered towards the end of last season. We'll see, I hope you're right. Aye but that was the year we finished 5th, crazy shit happened that year
  18. you think wigan will beat WBA and Swansea? I doubt it. After what I've seen this weekend I wouldn't be surprised if Wigan win all of their last 4 games and we lose 4 nil in all of ours! Nah but seriously, we should have beat West Brom if we played for two halves, Wigan are looking bettee than us so I'd say they win there. Swansea have only won once - against us - since the end of February, can easily see Wigan winning that. Well, we'll see how it plays out I guess but I think people are making the predictions out of fear than anything else. Wigan havent won in their last 4 which included QPR and West Ham. I just cant see them all of a sudden pulling two or three wins out of the bag, especially with a final wedged in between. Just my view like.

  20. you think wigan will beat WBA and Swansea? I doubt it.
  21. I wouldn't put them at more than 60% or so really, Swansea are still good. Swansea haven't won since beating us i think. Only won once since winning the cup. Yep... you guessed it.
  22. West Brom better fancy it on Saturday like
