Embarrassing stuff. Love to see you try to take the piss out of RTG after that.

Sarcasm? McTominay is on fire for Scotland.

https://www.nufc.co.uk/news/features/the-story-so-far-international-football-at-st-james-park/ Interesting little history of internationals at SJP. A couple of stars that have played there I didn't know - Neymar and Megan Rapinoe. Then there's Zidane and Stoichkov that I did know.

Thought I'd hear loads about this but didn't even realise it had already happened til this post. (NUFC.com reckon 'estimated 7k')

He should get in this season. He's 7 behind Beardsley who is second, he's only 3 behind Shola and Cole.

Wasn't aware the Reubens own more than Stavely (if reading that right)
-
Sounds pretty weird when I you think our chairman is, I assume, heavily involved in that deal.

They're getting a lot of shit in the replies saying there's a boycott on. I wasn't aware there was an ongoing one. Seemed the last few finals have been big (e.g. mackems one). Maybe it's just v PL U21 teams.

They should get a point

We should rotate him with someone else. -

I was pretty young but old enough to remember. When I was older I had to check back that it actually happened. Seemed mad. -

First one he'd have smashed it first time before the defender gets him if he was confident shooting with his left, I think. Pull back one was a bit unlucky as Tonali did welly it at him, but I'd have bet on Isak to do better by his high standards. Third one I felt like he'd have shot if he hadn't messed up two chances. He's class but thought he was uncharacteristically poor with his chances today.

One off Sir Les for toon PL goals now, I believe.

Close, but we’ve only actually dropped one more point than last season. Not that it hasn’t been poor -

"Champions League you're having a laugh' - that makes me nostalgic -
Honestly, I don't really get the hate for this guy. He's one of the mediocre players we were signing under Ashley and spineless Bruce. I resent them for that, not him for coming. He was mediocre as expected, don't recall him being a dick or unprofessional or anything. I'd image he'll do a job at a lower level championship club.

Whys he not in the England squad?

League Cup 3rd Round Draw - NUFC v Man City on 27/09 @ 8pm (live on Sky)
Superior Acuña replied to 54's topic in Football
I'll be honest, part of me will be relieved if we don't make another final for a few years. I'm going to be a financial wreck if we're getting to them regularly while I'm living in North America. -

Superior Acuña replied to 54's topic in Football
Sorry yes you're right that taking all combinations. My point is that I don't think it's suspicious given the many draws across the teams that a team has a low probability run over a few years. -

Any particular combination of draws over the course of 16 ties is of low probability. -
