I suppose being very lucky having a season ticket so young, going to the final defeats, away games as a kid and that, I never imagined possibly not being there if and when it eventually happened, and always thought through the shit away days etc they'd just make it all the sweeter when I finally see a cup lifted.

I would be so gutted to miss us seeing win our first trophy in a generation, I think it'd really affect me. There's not really anything I've dreamed more of for the last 30 years. All the games, the lost finals etc. I'm stopping going to home games now and potentially going to move back in with my mam for a bit if that's what it takes to get to the final If I missed us losing in the final, I'd get over that like.

I remember it being poor at Man City when I went two seasons ago. It’s a bit of a soulless place, a miserable place for us and we’re spread over two tiers. Not all an excuse, but my read on why.

I left 20 in from my winnings and I’ve now taken out another 165. Rolling over a series of conservative bets, and took out most my stake, later 50, later another 100. Did have one I almost lost it on Atlas v Puebla - I had Átalas win (draw no bet) and they came back from 2-1 to 3-2 in stoppage time. Just playing til my luck runs out, without putting more in. edit: that's where it ran out, with Bilbao failing to beat Espanyol

Just had the last twenty mins on of Sporting game and it was chaos don't know if the league's normally like that. Sitters missed at both ends.

I was at our last away league win there. I was 11. Imagine telling me then I’d be 35 and that’d still be the last one.

Maybe not such a bad day if we’ve put Haaland out for a bit

Ffs almost didn’t post this for that reason

Relieved this is still 3-0 after how it was going

Love this goal, even if it was part of a loss. I was there up in the corner behind, great view of it. Anyway, just noticed the steward flinching from the strike, can see when it shows it from behind Shearer PS that kit looks better with white socks

Since I broke up with my ex 3 and a half years ago, Feb 14ths been all about this man, all I need. Love you KK, not just today but every day.

Six times and six losses for me Even managed to see Shearer score and it be the one time he was playing against my team. Conceded 14, scored 1. (The last three finals, the charity shield, the semi-final and England v Scotland in Euro 96).

Looks normal behind the goal but terrible at side - looks like there's a whole block of tourists. Suppose better to have them together in a way, but that's not sort of place want to have them.

Almost never bet but I put some money on us to beat Arsenal to soften the financial blow of going to the final if we got there - largely using free bets. Won a hundred pound. Decided to leave a tenner in and stick it on both Haaland and Bellingham to score at 9/1. I guess this is how they get you.

Until last season ST holders got the opportunity to buy a guest ticket, so even though there was membership, there was no need to get one if you had a ST holder who could get you a ticket. That's how I always got one.

I think they may reduce the power of old loyalty points, but not remove them. I think it was Reading that did some complicated thing that did that. Seemed quite a good idea in a complex context. edit: https://www.readingfc.co.uk/tickets/loyalty-points/ not perfect, but something along the lines of acknowledging longtime support without it being so dominant seems like a good idea.
