Football is a simple game made complicated by fuckers like this relying on stats etc while as you say ignoring the passing etc. Watch a few of our games and the cause of our problems are evident, we have very little width, shit concentration, very little movement / disrupting shape of opposition, certain players with a lack of technical ability such as Williamson, Dummett, Tiote, Gouffran, Riviere. From a tactical point of view we don't have support for the front man / closer support when players on the ball and don't compact when the opposition have the ball, in addition our high pressing is garbage. We did in the past press high up and forced mistakes - not all the time but quite a few times it was effective, now we run around like headless chickens.

And so it begins. I mean, continues. I am speechless "I think we played well but these numbers here say we didn't so we must play more grafters." I didn't need to look at "physical data" stats whatthefuckever, I just used my eyes and watched the game and noticed they were all over us. I hate the way they rely on the data when all they need to do is open their fucking eyes. The data is useful perhaps for deep troubleshooting where something has gone wrong, however most our problems are simple ad basic organisation, tactical mistakes.

We may struggle to get 2 wins judging by last couple of games. You probably have to ignore yesterday when considering performances. Against Burnley, who you have to remember are a form side we put in a very good first half. You would have to believe at this stage that there is no reason that can not be transferred into a 4 to 5 wins at least, especially with Aarons, Abeid, Cisse, De Jong and Santon coming back, and perhaps more opportunities for Cabella under new management. I admire your enthusiasm and optimism but... - Burnley are in the bottom three - Two of the players listed are unavailable for the whole of Jan due to the ACON - The other three have played a combined 5 games (approx) this season Like I said, admire your optimism but there's just as much reason to be massively pessimistic until we know who's in charge We have played 2 shit teams and looked much shitter overall. I kind of agree with dropping Ayoze like, but he should have been able to get a performance against Leicester out of the rest on the pitch or came up with a tactic foir getting the draw. Instead we barely played football by the sounds of it with very little fight and quality.

We are just absolutely dogshit at defending, we don't have a single competent defender and lack any sort of organisation. We also have no playing system at all. Pardew says he took us forward, in truth his legacy is a steaming pile of shit at the back, a shit midfield and a couple of decent players in Sissoko and Perez. The fact he let Mbiwa go while keeping people like Williamson and Taylor shows how shit he was. I was happy with the starting 11 simply for the fact that some of the players need a rest otherwise they will get injured and only 1 of them was a defender. I couldn't give a fuck who plays out of Colo, Dummet, Williamson, Taylor as they are all shit and make stupid mistakes, add Alnwick and it's probably the worst back 5 in the league at the moment. How the fuck Willo and Taylor have lasted the last 4 years here I don't know.
