I think our lack of goals and attacking competency amplifies our defensive issues though. We turn the ball over far too often and the way we attack leaves us prone to counter. Being utter fucking tragic taking the ball forward and creating moves impacts us later on games and suffer waves of attacks from opposition. Any team would concede if they were completely shit at attacking.

Even in post match it's mental and physical, how about more technical football rather than kick and rush, static boring as fuck football and a team that looks like they don't train together

If we lose to Brighton on Sat it's a full No, even through my criticism part of me hopes it's just a blip and we sort it this summer but just haven't seen any signs of him getting it right and finding ways to integrate newer players other than Ramsey. The signings were atrocious last summer. He needs to evolve the style past this 433, sign energetic more technical/skillful players as well as retaining some physicality and he has to be fucking ruthless with Murphy, Pope, Burn, Gordon and others to freshen the whole thing up, I'm not sure he will be though. I'm not sure how we sort the Wissa and Elanga problem given fee we paid and he has to build players in to get most out of Woltemade who isn't shit or short of effort, just out of place in the way we play.

That's fair, I think it's just a bit frustrating that we aren't more a technical team and relying to much on big physical beasts with same end result.

It's not just that he hasn't been able to find solutions all season to problems, it's been horrific and most fans can predict from first few mins every game how it's going to go and opposition know that. His solution is swap a winger for an even shitter one, keep strikers on bench for a winger up top, take one of your most technical players out and put Dan Burn at left back again, play flat 3 midfield and continuously hope it just works, watch the momentum drain from the game and keep delaying subs while looking fucking puzzled on the touchline, play a really high line and come unstuck time and time again. It's been total shit all season and it's getting worse, even yesterday our goal threat is atrocious although we played better defensively. We tend to play forward with very static/limited movement keeping shape over fluid moments and end up losing the ball, also none of our players seem to be able to cross, pass or take set pieces anymore
