Well if Arsenal and Spurs both win, I hope Chelsea win the CL.

Yep, I'm sure everyone will take a step back after the game and realise what an achievement this season has been, but we've come agonisingly close to CL qualification, and it sounds like we've gone out with a whimper rather than going all out for it. Gutting.

Players are going to leave, it's an inevitability in modern football. What's more important is how we as a club are addressing this inevitability and shaping our plans for continued progress. Got it from a good source that when Graham Carr was questioned about the possibility of a certain player leaving he replied that he didn't know, but what he did know was that in the case of that happening he already has a replacement lined up who he thinks is even better. if thats true we ought to be activly looking at shifting those players out (if the replacement is better) ? In an ideal world, yes. But if the player isn't one of our weaker/priority positions then I wouldn't have thought it would work quite as simply as that.

He was unlucky not to score yesterday and was a nuisance. Getting a little worried about his general play at times though. We move the ball forward pretty quickly when we attack these days and I can't help but feel like he's the last person I want on the ball whilst we're going forward. Maybe it's confidence/form but his passing often seems slow and laboured, and his decision making seems strange at times or takes too long to actually make a decision. Maybe he's thinking about things too much as he needs a goal.

Some of the goals not even getting in the OP, the less spectacular ones such as Cisse's goal against Stoke have been class - we've ripped teams apart with some of our play, we really have.
