He was sitting pretty high up a lot of the time yesterday which isn't ideal when one of his key strengths is carrying the ball forward at pace.
It's worth trying him in a free role I suppose, but not with his base position that high up.

Keeper should have saved it, same as for the Wolves goal.
It was smart on our behalf in that Almiron had their entire wall and keeper positioned to receive a shot from him.
Don't think I've once this season seen Hendrick chase the defender down to intercept a ball down the line, thus nullifying an attack, like Almiron just did.
It takes instruction tbh, players are clearly told to sit back and not make any forward runs ahead of the ball.
Seems to be the case even when we're deep though
