  1. Bruce shaking his head as if he's so unlucky, the poor fella.
  2. Been so long since we attacked that the players forgot about the offside rule.
  3. Fully expect him not to bring on a ball carrier for the second half.
  4. Redknapp has shifted from "he's done a great job" to "he's done a reasonable job". They are struggling to defend him.
  5. That's gotta be the first time this season that I've seen us force an error. Or press high up the pitch for that matter.
  6. Is this a commonly shared opinion? I can't say I am in agreement
  7. Kinnear was probably the most humiliatingly bad appointment - it was genuinely outwardly embarrassing having him as manager, whereas most of the others were just plain embarrassing. He was an absolutely dreadful manager, only outdone by Carver in terms of ability. In terms of hatred, I'd put Kinnear second again to Pardew, with Bruce rapidly rising up the ranks. Time has a habit of numbing anger, but it shouldn't be forgotten just how detestable and damaging Pardew was due to how long he spent here pushing Ashley's agenda. Pardew successfully realigned expectation for a large portion of our fanbase.
  8. Gundogan is a spitter for Kripparrian, if anyone knows who he is
  9. Yedlin is terrible at nearly everything he does. Ritchie is slow and can't defend. Disagree with most of both these posts tbh, atleast based on this game. Yedlin has been playing and defending really well, admittedly not great when going forward. Ritchie has been fine enough and defended well. Almiron has privitol to anything attacking we've done, and has passed the ball really well. Matty has also played the ball around well in the centre of the park. Classic 54 this. Making a valid, agreeable post? Must roll eyes.
  10. I thought he looked miserable when he was waiting to come on yesterday. It could well be that he was concentrating etc. but for someone that usually plays with a smile, his demeanour was noticeably different. IMO he should be a guaranteed starter. At a minimum he'll work harder than most on the pitch, with his presence immediately increasing the fluidity of our general play.
  11. Brentford were completely in then if the ball was played.
  12. We say this every week. Someone says it every week without fail.
  13. Typically, mere seconds after my post, Longstaff pulls of an incredible pass
  14. It's staggering how out of his depth Longstaff looks. He's behind literally every bit of play from challenging the opposition to supporting his team mates.
  15. I know Longstaff hasn't lived up to his early promise, but he's been Ali Dia levels of off the pace today.
