this, is there honestly still anyone on here who doesn't believe he deserves the sack based purely on his performance over the last year? i know brett is one but is there anyone else? would love to see a poll like I can think of 3 who? inochi, ian w, brett? i don't think ian w and inochi would keep the fella like they just seem to revel in being contrary (might be wrong)....someone else is a bit pro-pards, happy face? By the way his performances from last season do deserve the sack just for the record, but i've just always maintained i wouldn't trust Ashley to hire someone to make me happy if he was ditched. Onnce decision was made to keep him, i decided to give him another season and another chance. So actually i do think in general Pardew's performances from last season should have earned him the sack under normal circumstances, but this club hasn’t got normal circumstances Talk about a contradiction of a post. If you are happy with a bloke you think should have been sacked , what difference does it make who is appointed? Because there's a difference, if i was a Spurs fan i'd have wanted Harry Redknapp sacked and AVB brought in, however i wouldn't have wanted Redknapp sacked if they weren't looking to upgrade. In our case we wouldn't be looking to upgrade, it would be someone like/deffo JFK, so i'd rather stick? I think you would be hard pressed to find a manager worse than Pardew tbh .

Yep, he's part of the Ashley bullshit not just a victim of it.

Rather get behind him and give him my backing and hope he manages to turn things around again, which i do genuinely believe he could do. Why do you think he can turn it around? There's nothing in his history that says he can?

Fine post. Yep, all of our hierarchy either don't give a flying turd or are utterly inefficient at their jobs. Except Graham Carr.

Well, it is supposed to show emphasising a point you know, But if it offends..... Of course it doesn't....you shout 'til your heart's content mate.

(to almost quote Family Guy) this pic is NUFC under Par de deux's imbecilic rule - to perfection ! (and beyond) Phil, you are slacking...a POST with no WORDS compiled purely of CAPITALS, unless you count NUFC that IS.

So i'm now not the only one being appeased when it comes to the 3 points being the most important thing on Saturday regardless of how it comes, glad i got around to proving my point. What it proves is you'll accept any old shite as long as 3 points is at the end. Not quite grasping that you are far more likely to win a match if you have a bit of style and good tactics rather than hope the opposition either are shitter than you or care less than we do about winning a game. Exactly what we've been doing for a season and the reason we finished 16th. And will get relegated if we continue to do the same. Of course it is, and that Brett, seeing as you haven't been able to see it, is the big picture.
  9. David Batty nailed on to be the next U21 manager.

Must be a troll. There is absolutely no need for this crap. Positive excited attitude = a troll.... Each to their own but i can't agree with Pardew's words personally. Aye well just say that rather than coming out with s**** things like 'must be a troll', f***ing sick of it, all you get on here for having a positive approach or having faith in players is 'WUM'...'Troll' ‘Retard’, happens daily on here. Can't a few of us just look forward to the game on Saturday fancying a win without being lynched every time we post something positive? Getting beyond a joke! A scrappy, jammy as f*** being on the back foot for 90 minutes, having one deflected shot at goal which goes through the legs of their injured substitute goalkeeper to give us a thoroughly undeserved 1-0 victory against a hard done to 8 man West Ham team ravaged by injury and unbelievably harsh sendings off would probably appease you Brett. It's all to do with result for you and not being able to see the big picture. I actually think we'll beat them Saturday but I'm not expecting decent entertainment or attractive football to achieve it. I bet you never seen an unhappy Fulham fan travelling back to London? Can't say I've ever seen any kind of Fulham fan tbh. I know they play far better football than we do. EDIT: Not really sure, if there is one, what your point is here? My point is they travelled from London, watched there side be completely outplayed by Sunderland, have the least amount of touches in the opposition box and least amount of shots out anyone in the league over the weekend. Yet they still travelled back with 3 points in the boot all the way back to London and that's all that matters at the end of the day the fact they won the game. And your point is? If Cisse fancies flicking one over his head and volleying into the onion bag in the 90th minute for a 1-0 win, i will quite happily say thank you very much for the 3 points Pappis and move on to the next game being happy we've got points on the board. A win is a win. Now this is true. Away from home it is. Depending on the opposition also. Not at home to West Ham it wouldn't be. The 3 points from a shite performance craic at home is not only missing the big picture, it's missing the gallery the big picture is housed in.

They had the same amount of shots as we did but obviously they dug in and prevented the opposition from scoring, that's how they won. Our lot didn't want to even touch the shovel handle on Monday night. It was the same bend over and get it over with attitude we showed at the Etihad at the end of last season. No change whatsoever.

What a wonderful command of the English language. The prick is a retard in every meaning of the word.

I found it particularly ironic that he'd made a spelling mistake whilst doing it. It's the American spellchecker man FFS!!! You must have a wilfully thick spellchecker. Ah I see. It's an American one.

Don't get the facepalm tbh. Because Pardew selecting his first choice XI, doesn't have Yanga in there.

How the fuck the pair of you can be arsed is beyond me. Just find it hard to take people being so willfully thick, that's all. It's not even about defending Pardew, it's just common sense. Nothing he says matters now, because even if he comes out with something completely standard and/or sensible everyone is waiting to dissect it line-by-line with a load of weapons-grade bollocks. Given that, yes it's pointless joining in with this thread. Guilty as charged on that one. It's spelt "wilfully" Ian.
  21. . Chelski get away with murder but playing with 12 takes the biscuit.
  22. Blanc really does want Cabaye, possible. Cabaye's going from Planc to Blanc.
  23. Salaries should bump the figure up not down, considering our wage bill is quite a bit less than it was when Ashley took over. I think you'll find its not Really? No Smith, Owen, Butt, Geremi...they were high earners. Don't think we have anything like their salaries in the squad now...maybe Colo.
  24. Has he had his 25 yard attempt on goal yet?
  25. Ashley bought NUFC through a series of companies. The one which bought NUFC was called St James Holdings Ltd (and may well still be). SJHL is in turn owned by MASH Holdings, which also owns his shares in Sports Direct. So to buy the club he lent the money to SJHL which then used it to pay the former shareholders. However subsequent to that Ashley lent more money to SJHL, which then lent that to NUFC to repay various debt and to improve the club's perilous cash position (and did so again when we were relegated). So the amount showing as a debt to NUFC does not relate to the purchase price, whereas at SJHL the debt shown reflects both purchase price and subsequent cash injections. As for why do it as (virtually) all debt, this is simply to give more flexibility around tax as the interest is tax-deductible. He should take a big heap of responsibilty in the fact we got relegated. Never mind have the money back what he ploughed in to the club subsequently.
