It's Alan Parry. God I'm pedantic today but you Yankees need educating sonetimes. Easy there fella, an e used over an a on a commentator I'd only know given following the sport for ages across the pond. Give over man! honest mistake too. It's a schoolboy error but I was glad to help, you are very welcome.

Looks like a charva incarnate of Nick Knowles.

Because of his excellent first season. He has regressed so much since then. I put it down to over-confidence and not understanding his limitations, ,hence my original post. I'd say his 1st season was because teams didn't put him under pressure. I'd say he looked good because at that point we were comparing him with such as Butt and Geremi. Rightho, I reckon Cisse is f***ing s**** because I'm comparing him to Alan Shearer. Comparing you to Pardew, hard to say who is the bigger a***hole. You started it ,fuckwit. Aye OK mate. Back to school on Monday, allowed to stay up for the match at night? Nah we're on holiday .

I'd say his 1st season was because teams didn't put him under pressure. But they did. Sometimes he got away with the swivelling and sometimes he did not, ie Blackburn. Generally though he had an excellent first season. Less so in our 5th place season and obviously he was fucking abysmal last season. Some of that is down to opposition pressing him more agreed but he was still spinning and turning aimlessly. Win the ball and simple pass . This really is his job. And he can do it because we have seen it before.

If Tiote is to come good again then he needs to know his limitations. Win the ball fairly and give a simple pass to someone who is able to do more with the ball, ie Cabaye. Not win the ball and then fiddle and fart about doing 360's left right and centre Parker stylee and lose the ball in front of our defence. I'm hoping Pardew has drummed into him what he needs to be doing and what he mustn't do. I'm not confident though.

Why couldn't a "world class" player get a game for Villa? Surely even Alex McLeish wouldn't have left him out so much if he was "World Class"? Only playing Devil's Advocate btw I dunno, why does Pardew insist on playing Jonas 30+ matches a year? Incompetence does exist among PL managers and McLeish has proven to be a dullard. Bradley left Villa, went to Chievo and played so well that Roma sprung for him, and he played more minutes for them than any other midfielder in their squad last season. But "world" class. Come on Deuce, he isn't "world" class is he? He wouldn't get anywhere near an England midfield, and we don't really have any "world" class midfielders.

We need a Remynder about which thread we're in.

Welbeck is a promising lad. He needs more goals, but he has a lot of good points. His movement and linkup play is coming on well. I thought Welbeck was very bright last night. Honestly think some of the young lads that Yorkie mentioned have big futures if nurtured correctly. Loved AOC's cameo too, he has such vision for one so young. I reckon Wilshere and AOC pulling the strings for Welbeck , Walcott etc could see us have an exciting time in the years ahead. Really quite positive.

I sympathise with the point but still time before the window slams shut. We should be ready now though ideally, I agree.
-
Steve Bull must've done. Not 100% though. Don't think Bully even played in the top flight did he ?
-
Why shouldn't it. He is a good player.
-
It's obstruction everywhere else on the pitch too.
-
Well I'm going to give Pards a chance. Forget last season. Clean slate. But if he fails to bring in 3 points from our first game , he can fuck off.
-
Abso-fucking-exactly. Cunt of a man, and a shit player to boot. He certainly wasn't the best defender in Europe as thr media would have you believe circa Istanbul and the season preceding but to say he was shit is frankly bollocks . He was an international class player who found his way into the England team blocked by marginally better defenders
-
But he would be above AVB though wouldn't he ? Which kind of makes Deuces point moot.
-
Possibly. IMO, not in any particular order: Mourinho, Wenger, Guardiola, Benitez, AVB, Klopp, Ancelotti, Deschamps and Conte all have some claim to a list of the top managers. You've missed Hiddink.
