Or indeed anywhere in life...they're all patronising, look down their noses at you types. I don't care about tarring them all with the same brush.....every single one that I've met over the years, and there have been many, even when they were cowering in Liverpool's wake, has been like that. .

Another Man United fand here, and seething myself after seeing your snivelling post pixel. You don't speak for most other United fans so apologize by all means but don't make up rubbish like all Man United fans aren't with Fergie on this. If you care to go onto Red Issue (Man United forum) for example you'll see most fans on there are applauding Fergie for giving it back to Pardew after his hypoctrical comments about referees. I think the point Fergie was making was that if it was a manager of a different club with a smaller profile (Newcastle, Sunderland or whoever) then there wouldn't be all the national mock outrage and days and days of talking hypocritical shite about it on the radio, in the papers etc. What does hypoctrical mean ?

    Coventry by any chance ?

It all boils down to this : whether it be the manager, the players or their "supporters". They all believe they have the God given right to everything from trophies to contentious decisions, and they really don't give a fuck how they achieve it. As I've said, to some derision I might add, they are the most contemptible, rancid club in World football, never mind the "biggest" one.

Wenger, Mancini and Benitez will all go against Taggart. ONeill ,Allardyce, Redknapp you could guarantee supporting him.

If I was Pardew I would be desperate for the press to ask me.. " I am not going to respond, I was brought up to respect the elderly" "We was told the manager of the biggest club in the world had been draggin our names through the mud, but I can't find Tito Vilanova mentioning us anywhere." Replace Vilanova's name with Brendan Rodgers' and you'd get Fergie convulsing with temper.

Manchester United the biggest club in the World . What does that even mean ?

The FA should be faxing him the bringing the game into disrepute charge as we speak.

Time to put Taggart in a care home. I really hope we can draw these wankers in the Cup at St James and see the old cunt when he hears the fans reaction to his pathetic comments.

he is supposed of the left politically but all his actions are of the right. he's in favour of privelage when it's him and his that benefit and very much an "i'm all right jack" attitude. Very much this.

Re Mark Hughes, did he go to Bayern Munich after Barcelona ?

I just remembered another expensive transfer error. Danny Wallace.

Viv Anderson was shite mate. He'd been a good player but hadn't in reality been a good player for 3 or 4 seasons. McClair was a different animal, very under rated and never ever gave less than 100%.

He was a very lucky man to get 4 years to get his first trophy. The Manchester United board at that time, Martin Edwards etc., deserve credit for not blinking and sacking him during the 86-90 period. They were shite then, Fergie looked like the job was too big for him and their local "rivals" Liverpool were easily the best side around. His signings, Neil Webb, Ralph Milne , Mal Donaghy etc, weren't cutting it, yet the board still kept faith with him. Then he signed the likes of Bruce, Pallister, Hughes and Ince and his fortunes changed. I actually enjoyed the Cup Winners Cup victory, the style that they played with and that it was the first European victory for an English club since the ban ended. Of course managing to secure Cantona from Leeds and Schmeichel coming in made League titles possible, and it has been since then Ferguson has become the mouthpiece to a club that believes it has a divine right to everything, from its manager all the way down to its fans. They have more decisions go their way than anyone else. He bullies officials, as do his minions, regularly and nothing is done. But whilst Ferguson, quite obviously is one of the best managers this country has seen. People forget the Ferguson that spent , spent, spent in his first four years achieving nothing but mockery from fans up and down the country.
  15. What a load of shite. He supports Manchester United because they are table toppers. Glory hunters do. Or Liverpool. Or any other parennial title winners over the years. That's why I enjoy our Northern/Southern Irish/ around the World support. Because they're not doing it for the glory, the off hand snidey remarks they can belittle other football fans with, they're doing it to be real fans...fans who experience pain. When I say pain, I don't mean not winning a trophy for a year or two, or even losing one in the last minute to your nearest rivals. Though that would obviously hurt. I mean going years without even looking like winning anything, even getting relegated a few times as we have. So when we do eventually win something, it will mean something, because we are a proper club with proper supporters, not a club or fans who believe we have a God given right to success, as we obviously don't. I honestly do not understand the mentality of glory hunting...maybe supporting Manchester United/ Chelsea/Liverpool in the 80's helps to provide a fake popularity amongst peers? So he gets completely slated because he supports a successful club? I get where you're coming from, but I think you're just jumping down his throat because he supports Man Utd and we lost to them in a harsh way today. Just because someone supports a successful club doesn't mean they are a clueless fan or that they are automatically always unreasonable. I don't see where Froggy slated Newcastle on here or rubbed our noses in it, yet people are jumping down his throat. It is clearly just because he is a non-Manchester based Man Utd fan, and for nothing else. People on here need to be bigger than that. There was gloating as many will testify to. I'm not saying anymore on the subject. I'm sorry Decky if you're upset about your mate's treatment...I said things after he attempted to make humour about my parents I'm not very proud of and for that I shall apologise unreservedly. But on the main point, you are wrong... I detest glory huntery every day of the year...it's why I loathed Liverpool whilst growing up, and it's why I've loathed Manchester United for the last 20 years...I make no apologies here mind....if you have no connection to a place who's incumbent football team keeps winning silverware , and you "support" said team , you'll get no respect from me whatsoever in footballing discussion. What is the difference between me and him? What scale is glory hunting rated on? Success in one league? A lot of League One, Two and below would see me as a glory hunter. I have no connections to Newcastle, yet I support them, a Premier League team. You can go on about glory hunting until the cows come home, but your point doesn't stop with trophies, Newcastle are incredibly successful and the likes of myself have only become supporters off the back of it. Are we less a supporter than you Billy? Should the likes of me and the other foreigners just do one with Froggy? Edit: In reply to this: "if you have no connection to a place who's incumbent football team keeps winning silverware , and you "support" said team , you'll get no respect from me whatsoever". Again, if Newcastle win a few trophies are we automatically less a supporter? Don't be silly Declan, of course glory hunting stops with trophies. We haven't won one for 43 years. You'd be the worst glory hunter in the World supporting us.

  17. I never watch us on MOTD when we lose, it is generally a no-no but I have a notion that I will watch it and get even more irate by it all!!
  18. Maybe he's forgotten all about that. Or maybe he felt reaching a major final with such a shit team was the main achievement?
  19. The Premier League and Graham Poll are a fucking disgrace for even suggesting that Ferguson was wrong. How fucking dare they.

  21. Put anywhere near the same amount of attacking intent with the added bonus of the defence likely being tighter with Williamson's enforced absence, and we'll get a result.
  22. Hear fucking hear...totally empathise with the last paragraph, my son is amongst older glory hunting cousins having the piss taken out of him.....tonight is going to be a messy one..
  23. Apparently did some vital feng-shui in the dressing room at half-time.
