Can't see Ivory Coast flying Tiote to Norwich tbh .
-
Shola or not, that is fucking cheating to the nth degree. And this dopey cunt ref has bought it. Id like to see retrospective bans bought in for this kind of cheating. Making a mockery of the game.
-
I agree, yet we've seen Tiote and Colo straight redded for similar challenges this season.
-
Williamson's defending there is slacker than Katie Prices hoop.
-
I suppose the answer is to insist on large sell on clauses.

They did something similar with Robert Jarni and Coventry I think? Coventry paraded him at a friendly ,which was luckily played in the 8 hours he was a Coventry player.Something tells me this was something to do with using Coventry as a middle man between Barca and Real who don't trade together

I don't like backing up Ferguson, but those saying that he would do the same, you may be right, but he simply hasn't done the same. Nut makes a valid point that this could well set an unsavoury precedent. I don't feel sorry for brand red Manchester at all but it seems to me that they have been skanked on this occasion. Ferguson's comments however much I agree with them, should be retracted mind, that kind of aggressive rhetoric toward another club's Chairman aren't really on.

Lost Brian Clough interview - well worth a listen

I agree, Taylor was a piss head too mind, when he was a goalkeeper at Coventry, the stories of him being found in shop doorways mortal having cacked and pissed his strides aren't singular unfortunately. -
Amazingly enough, I'm also with O-Nut and I also agree with Taggart. Something doesn't smell right about this. Don't Manchester United send their young prospects to Belgium ? If it is Liege, they send them too, I can see Taggart putting a stop on it, though something tells me it is Antwerp.

They both needed each other in fairness. (Taylor failed miserably at Derby County) But tbf to Clough he did win trophies without Taylor. That Hamilton book is excellent in regard to the strained relationship they had at the end of their time together at Forest. They wouldn't even talk to each other and had offices at the other end of the stadium It wasn't so much Taylor going on his own back to Derby, that ruined their friendship, it was the fact he poached some Forest first teamers to go with him. John Robertson, Archie Gemmill and Kenny Burns. All were past their best mind. Taylor failed miserably at Derby whilst Clough had a mediocre period at Forest with some terrible big money signings, Ian Wallace , Justin Fashanu etc. He did have a successful period late 80s winning the League Cup a couple of times, but never challenged for the title again of course. -
But they won. Ricky Villa's mazy run and all that. If that was us it'd be my screensaver/wallpaper/ringtone/gravestone. Sigh. This isn't helping. I meant the one a couple of years ago when they were 3-0 up and lost 4-3. I don't even mind Spurs and I'm tired of the Ricky Villa goal. It's not even that good... Best moment of my life at the time - and my first trophy supporting Spurs (I was 8) I get more pain from the 87 Final tbh, and there's been enough of that on the Beeb already in the run-up to tomorrow's game. Was at the 87 final, was a tremendous day out, and a great game too. As I've mentioned, I used to go with my mates to watch Coventry. A better Cov Spurs game was the League game the same year.4-3 to Cov but being able to witness Hoddle in his pomp was magic. Best player I've ever seen.

Whilst making an absolute pigs ear of the England job. Oh yes. Tried to repeat what he had done at Leeds, with England. Supermac was one of those who 'suffered' under Revie's reign. I don't think he speaks very highly of him to this day. His Leeds side was possibly the most cynically dirty I've ever seen too. Cloughie's approach to the Leeds job was so understandable if probably a tad premature. -
Get yerselves prepared for the annual Ronnie Radford / Ricky George wankfest tomorrow.

I can remember these programmes going out Friday nights in the 80's with George Gavin presenting. Cloughie, Doug Ellis, Graham Taylor and different Midlands sports celebs each week. Always listened pre Friday night piss up, in the bath...good times. -

Pretty sure Pardew has done mate. -
I've heard he wants to reclaim the Malvinas singlehandedly.
-
Excellent post. Served his purpose at some pretty low times for our club, and that should be recognised.
-
Darren? You're the last bloke I thought would chomp on that one.
-
There is still a smattering of homophobic chanting at the game, at Villa Park earlier in the season, I definitely heard "you're bent and you know you are" chanted to a Villa player.

He's a poor man's David Bellion according to the Manchester United "fan" in the pub.
-
And in the back of my herad I see dancing feet It's Ben Arfa and Debuchy to a disco beat.

He only has to say "no" if he doesn't want to go..

My initial cynical thought too.
