I thought your keeper kept the score down against us tbh.
-
I think we'll beat Italy.
-
Absolutely. Also carried the team for the last tournament as well. SSSSHHHHH.
-
1st tournament goal since 2004 for Rooney. Not good for a supposed world class striker.
-
Gerrard and Terry far and away our best players thus far. Rooney has been nothing short of horse spunk.

I remember Sweden's 2 goals in 2006....you clearly don't. And then we played Trinidad, Ecuador and a 10 man rearguard action against Portugal with Owen Hargreaves clearly our best player. Funny how time disguises reality. England were shocking that tournament with only Ashley Cole, Hargreaves and maybe Joe Cole emerging with any credit. Sorry, how does Ferdinand not emerge with credit? He was heroic against Portugal and barely put a foot wrong in the rest of the tournament. Because , in my opinion, he didn't deserve any. His best game was the Portugal one, but to say heroic about his performance is stretching it somewhat. He was mediocre versus the Swedes, and had fuck all to do against Paraguay or Trinidad or to a lesser extent Ecuador.

Campbell was starting in the back four against Sweden, though iirc. Edit: Just checked it, he came on for Ferdinand after 56 minutes. Came on as sub, for Ryan Giggs.,

Crazy. No, opinion. Rio , in MY opinion, has always been vastly over rated, even when he was at West Ham. He was the second best centre half at Leeds, and without Vidic bailing him out time and time again has often looked distinctly mediocre at Man United Crazy is how I'd describe your mantra that everyone should agree with you.
-
Rio and Terry are both past their best. Rio has arguably been on the wane for longer and is also injury prone , whereas Terry is a better leader. Out of the 2, I prefer Terry. But I've never rated Rio so my judgment is probably tainted.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18471301 Larsson definite dickhead Mackem.
-
We always get better resuls on BBC.
-
Incidentally Ibra gloating at Hart after their second was Mackem like in its class.
-
Young again thinking he's better than he is.2 out of 10 for him tonight.
-
Not a fan of Zlatan, but he is their only threat. He is playing too deep mind. Ashley Young has been dog fart, if he was half as good as he thinks he is, he'd be some player.
-
Ashley Young has been appalling so far. Probably sulking at having no free role.

If they appoint Moyes, I reckon it's a signal that they might want a ginger haired Scots manager from Everton.

Redknapp said,"Of course I'm sad to leave Spurs, as for my replacement, I love the boy Pardew up at Newcastle, he's terrific but he's under contract, so we'll have to see."
-
Despite what I've said about Jones, I'd rather play him in Parkers position than Horrendouson.
-
That pass from Parker to Welbeck? may have been Ox on the right corner of their box when he was about 5 yards away from whoever it was....the pace he hit it you'd have thought he was 55 yards away. I thought Parker defended ok but didn't use the ball as well as those around him, especially Gerrard.
-
He wasn't poor, to be fair. He was fucking abysmal. That chance he missed, man, when he took it past the keeper only to put it onto his weaker hoof.
-
Really do think that's harsh on Ox, he and Glen Johnson were the only ones to show any real endeavour going forward imo - Cole to a lesser extent, but then we barely used him. Ox beat his man on a few occasions and played a few neat passes. I wouldn't give the Mackem 3 either. Did he touch it? I don't think so.
