It's basically a lose-lose situation for us.He does,as we expect, fucking useless-Ashley keeps him.Alternatively if he achieves something that we aren't expecting,ie good results, highish League position,Ashley will fuck him off and then run to next available cheap and /or crap option.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/newcastle-united/8189210/Alan-Pardew-is-no-new-Joe-Kinnear-his-appointment-at-Newcastle-could-galvanise-the-club.html This numpty seems to think he'll immediately get us onside. How the fuck will that work then?
  3. Oh Alan Pardew, you are the love of my life, Oh Alan Pardew,I'd let you sha...oh bollocks.

I agree entirely with this,Ashley is definitely destroying our club on purpose.
  5. I think you're correct, but can't see it happening. Man Utd fans made much more of an impression standing outside Rooneys house the other month than we ever did when we had old women on tele telling the world their life was over because Keegan left. We protest for a day, keep it lawful, and it drifts away to nothingness. To make a difference, a boycott of games should be at the core of it. No, not everyone will, but dont underestimate the 'drip drip' effect of word of mouth, people just simply laying their cards down saying to mates and other fans that theyre not going anymore, and gathering momentum. I'd like to think a sizeable drop in attendance till the end of the season is possible. Protests outside a lot of the time. Its principle. I'd also like to think that mass protests would send a message to any potential new owners in the future that if we're pissed on like this we dont accept it. And maybe put them off coming?

Did anybody else titter at the word "rancour" in that article?
  8. Hughton was close to the players and had a bond, Pardew isn't and therefore will have no qualms with shifting on the big earners in January. With a much smaller wage budget NUFC becomes a more saleable asset. Of course we'll have no decent players, a threadbare squad and be at least one division down come the time of the sale.. but that's how Mike Ashley operates. Stack 'em high, sell 'em cheap. Lets hope He shifts on Smith Such an opportunity for a FYP.

If that's true, then it's definitely going to be a 'yes man' who comes in. No self-respecting coach will come and work with butttons and be expected to produce a miracle. And a cheap one at that.
  10. I got mocked once for saying that. Nobody can be that thick without having other motives.

I see now why Stu doesn't mind Pardew
  14. Nah,he's ideal for the protest/boycott scenario. Did all his best work behind closed doors.
  15. Horrific stuff. If true, but also casts a shadow over Pardew,if they want a showbusiness type appointment.
  16. I seem to remember Jol praising us whenever our paths crossed, might be wishful thinking I suppose.
  17. well he aint seen nothing yet. In Mackemland, that would be Bramble-Turner Overdrive.
