Would you prefer if diving was removed though? If so, can't see how you can fail to object to any player doing it.

Christ, these two must be on the slowest recovery system ever For the last couple of weeks, they've been 'not quite there'. Better than what we used to do, rush players back and have them break down again. -

True, but so would the other team.
-
You would need to supply a lot more examples than that to justify that conclusion.
-
I don't think there would be any euphoria, I would be embarrassed from the moment of the dive. Unless it looked like a penalty at the time of course.
-
I can honestly say I wouldn't celebrate if it was from a blatant dive. Nothing to do with it being Nolan, that wasn't the question.
-
Also, the question is hypothetical as Jonas would never dive!
-
Nah, I would feel ashamed if we won it like that, and it would spoil the whole enjoyment of the victory. I realise most people might not feel like that, but I honestly wouldn't want to win that way. To answer the question, there wouldn't be any euphoria.

It's alright, Enrique can cover both wings... he's that good. -
It's such a bollocks excuse to blame the referees... cheating players are just out to gain any advantage they can.
-
It's depressing when you put it like that.

Fair point. However, I know that when I am watching or playing football, the goal is to win. If there is contact in a dangerous area and the player stays on his feet, it is likely that he is depriving his side of a set piece opportunity. It is simply the smart decision in the situation. This is why players do it. If referees gave out red cards, called fouls when players didn't fall, or were better at deciphering dives, then players would stay on their feet. In the current situation, anyone who doesn't fall is actually hurting their team. Mate its fucking cheating and it ruins the game. END OF.

They will lose Gerrard eventually, when that happens they will be finished for a long time unless they make some quality signings - which they look incapable of doing.
-
Surely hundreds of changes were 'allowed to happen' by the true fans in the 60s and 70s, otherwise we would be the same club now as we were then.
-
Nolan is a midfielder, he's just nowhere near good enough to be one in the Premier League. That doesn't mean he's suddenly become some sort of Van Der Vaart-style playmaker.
-
Carroll's position in the team is that he's the only striker we have that's anywhere near Premiership level.
-
Ben Arfa's current role looks wrong to me, he's playing on the left wing but he spends all his time in the centre.

Indeed, our start is still as good, if not better, than most people expected. And we've signed a couple of good players who Hughton is still working out how to use properly. Let's hope he works it out soon, but I still don't think it's time to panic. -

Is £20 not pretty cheap? Can't see tickets ever getting lower than that. -
Even if Nolan does score some goals, basing the decision solely on that is ludicrous. The logic is stupid, who knows how many goals the team might score without Nolan, or with someone else in his position?
-
If Hughton fucks up his career over Kevin Nolan it will be one of the weirdest things I've witnessed in football.
-
I think the vast majority would. But when the choice is £25 on a match ticket or feeding the kids/pay a bill it then becomes no choice at all. Exactly right. Exactly, let the little buggers go hungry.
-
Aye, we're not doing that badly, if Perch hadn'y headed into his own net against Stoke half of the negative posts wouldn't be happening. That said, it's a fact that Nolan is awful and should be replaced by Ben Arfa right now if not sooner.
-
We're just unusually used to having sell-outs every week and not being able to get a ticket for love nor money. In the real world poor quality fare + financial troubles = reduced crowds.
