I queued from 5000, got in but every ticket was in someone’s basket. Every area is locked completely now so I guess that’s it.

All you needed was any purchase since 2019, surely most people who gave up their tickets when Rafa left have been to a game since the takeover?

They didn’t really allow multiple per account, they allowed people to link eligible accounts together. None of this really matters since the number was so low. Even all the people who gave up under Ashley would’ve had like a 1 in 30 or 40 chance of getting in.

People would literally have been outside the box office for a week.

Just gives you double or triple the chance of getting in… if all of you are in the queue.

Also it was just as ‘loyal’ to not buy a new ST as it was to give up an existing one. I could easily have bought a couple at any time.

Nobody was really prioritised, all they were doing was trying to stop bots and touts. With the chances being so low, it’s fairly academic.

It basically was a ballot system.

I don’t think they can add any season ticket holders until capacity increases. You could argue that even selling this 1,000 was unnecessary.

I’m staying in the queue out of pure denial. Focus on the weekly rush to get individual match tickets I guess.

I thought people could only buy 1, didn’t know anything about linking accounts. Should all have been linking together really

Seems like they need to add 20,000 season tickets at least to satisfy demand.

That’s why I’m staying on until it actually says sold out. 5,000 might be just about possible if some people ahead of me are duplicate device users.
