  1. Don’t worry, we hate the English press too.
  2. Seems highly unlikely anyone would buy him for £70m, unless we become absolutely brilliant.
  3. Never seen Gouiri play but I signed him in eFootball and he's class.
  4. They’ve had a good window ‘so far’, but obviously it would be really bad if this was it. Which is almost a pointless thing to say since it obviously won’t happen
  5. I’m sure we were planning to buy him and someone else. It’s not one or the other IMO.

I think this will turn out to be an incredible signing.
  7. Saw him in a club in town when he first signed, couldn’t have looked more unhappy to be there He was new to the country TBF.
  8. I’m not sure he puts in no effort. He’s explosive and physically strong, and his technique is flawless. Hard to say without watching him every day, but I think he just doesn’t feel comfortable in the environment of training and a football club. He doesn’t fit in for whatever reason, probably mostly mental.
  9. If the player employs an agent then they should pay them. But I suppose practically it wouldn’t make much difference if players just demanded more to cover agent fees anyway. No doubt loads/most of agents are money-crazed twats. But I can see the need for someone to get the best possible deal for a player in such a rich industry. Just a shame if an agent doesn’t do what is right for their client’s career in order to trouser more cash.
  10. It’s good to avoid being taking advantage of, but it’s also good to sign the players you need. Hard to say since we don’t know, but I’d be concerned if we’re only looking at players who have lovely blokes as their agents. Of course I 100% trust the club at this point and I’m sure we’ll get people in. And as someone said, it could be tactical.
  11. Well we need a balance. Since we can’t currently attract established champions league level players that easily, would’ve been a good signing for the squad.
  12. I don’t know why no actually good clothing and graphic designers work on football kits. It’s the biggest sport in the world, it’s very weird.
  13. Season tickets themselves are an interesting concept when demand is this high. Presumably they’re normally useful for clubs to guarantee income, but in cases like ours the demand is going to be astronomical anyway. Estimate there’s going to be about 30,000 people looking for one next week, maybe more if you include touts. Might have a 1 in 25 or 30 chance of getting one. It’s barely worth thinking about.
  14. It’s just a way to say that you haven’t just signed up now to get a ticket to sell I guess, it’s not a judgement of who deserves one more. I don’t have a clear sense of how you can ever get a season ticket if you haven’t had one for decades TBH, it’s a shame. I guess just wait for a bigger stadium.
  15. Winks is very mobile and comfortable on the ball, good continuity player. That said, he probably does need a good tactical system, he’s not going to be bossing games out of nowhere.
  16. Yeah, this way is better than selling 15,000 and still not getting one. Can’t describe my jealously towards people who already have one like. Luckiest people in the world.
  17. Anyone planning on a room of 10 computers and phones? I’m definitely not.
