Yeah, fair enough, in theory. But I don’t think many PL managers are actively looking to drop their top goalkeeper unless it’s absolutely essential. Most teams play the same bloke every week for the whole season.

Competition for places doesn’t really seem to be a thing for keepers. Pretty much every team has a clear standout first choice who plays every game. I think Pope is a big upgrade but of course I’d prefer Dubs as backup than Darlow. I don’t think Dubs would start for many other top 10 PL teams, there are loads of good keepers in this league. Pope played for Burnley FFS.

Just strikes me as a complete style over substance company. Like something has been made to look like a decent sports brand but nothing behind it. Even the logo looks like it’s been knocked up in A-level graphic design. No idea how long they’ve actually been around TBF.

Dubs is at a weird place IMO, I can see why he wants to be number one but I don’t think he’s good enough to start at a top 10 team comfortably. That’s why we needed to upgrade him. Start at someone worse than us, sure. There are loads of really good keepers in the PL.
