One line is very telling... Ashley clearly doesn't grasp that Rafa and his coaching team have had a massive influence over these players. Another manager (probably off the scrap heap) would have had us in the relegation zone.

Yeah two full backs would help that back four out immensly and give the rest of the team a proper platform.

It quality striker would have certainly have made a difference and converted some of those draws into wins and maybe some of the lose loses in to draws but we really could do with some players to go straight into that side.

Pretty happy to keep that team as a squad but add 4 or 5 players, out of that I think we need two full backs to go straight in. At least one striker, a midfielder and a couple of wingers.

Aye if we get better full backs.

Ashley would love a mega offer from Spurs, then give Rafa a fraction of that cash and a honking loan player thats been nowhere near a first team squad in years to cover the hole Shelvey leaves.

Not sure why we'd bother with that. Might get him on loan on the cheap for a season, a failed player looking for a new start. Right up Ashley's street that man.

It has one of worst rates for residents living in the city center in the country. Always found that weird, such a quiet city center, pretty decent traffic and transport and very affordable. Basically just needs more nice flats with river views, I'd buy one. I guess they haven't been a good long-term proposition because prices never go up and rents are quite cheap too. They are going to build along the riverside by the arena. They've been saying that area is going to be done up for years. There is nowhere else available now, its happening along with all that industrial land behind the train station.

Its gone man, its going to be student accomodation, residential and retail space.

Anybpdy that has shown ambition at newcastle has been pushed out of the door.

Built a stadium way to big for themselves, then went and devalued ticket prices by giving away freebies along with ST freezes or reductions. While spending TV money like there was no tomorrow.
