As of right now there's nothing suggesting it was attempting a controlled crash landing. The son of one of the pilot says they didn't stop to re-fuel because of delay while other says it's the way this company operates to save money. Investigations are on the way and we'll know soon enough, nonetheless a very sad day for everyone involved and the community of sports.
