I agree with that as well. I still think as a nation tho we produce players that look unfomy/awkward taking possession of a football under pressure. Rooney, Gerrard & Lampard plus the others are mainly used to being on top and in control of a game for 90% of the time. Not at the world cup, you need to keep possesion. The only player we had in the squad whose game is based around making passes was Carrick and he was never used.

I agree with this line of thinking. People are looking only at the Germany game, ignoring the fact we choked against Algeria too. The players obviously weren't performing at their best. This is what we should be addressing because if we can't get the best out of our players we will always struggle. It has been Spain's problem in the past and they play a totally different style. These players have won Premier League titles, Champions League trophies, they have beaten teams like Barcelona. They know how to play football. They couldn't perform against Algeria and people are talking about technique and schoolboys coaching? These players have won these titles with the help of foriegn players in their teams. Stick these fuckers in one team and they are clueless. We are saying we as a nation should be producing the players with the skills that these foriegn lads have.

Looking at the Carroll one it seems the white stripe bends round the lower back similar to the 08/09(?) shirt so theres stripes under the patch. Lame.

When did we sign Triple H? Long sleeve is slightly better but still an EPIC fail - Puma had a chance to really make something unique on the back of a promotion when the spirit is still high. They come out with a sphincter neck collar and basic template design. No doubt the back with be all white. Will we ever see stripes again???
