I think the more this transfer window drew to a close a lot of our fears wer starting to come true. Not sure if i can see a long term plan at the moment, especially if the rumor about every single first team player was for sale at the right price. You, you just cant build a team like that, let a lone keep it in the division. So i'm starting to wonder what is "the plan" for NUFC with Ashley.

Anyone who thinks that a foriegn manager will come in and sort this mess out straight after KK has left is fooling themselves. They Simply wont get the chance, some fans will just not tollorate it. I think we are roylally fcked at the minute.

Hmmm I think NUFC with KK had the chance to pull its socks up climb a few league places while playing football & entertaining the fans. This would have been a massive step up from the SHIT we have been royally served up by Souness, Roeder & Allerdyce. They could have backed KK & let him take the club forward for a few seasons and give us the fans a rest from the shit. After a few semi successful seasons (top 10) Maybe then reasses. Top post my friend. People have to be rational here. This reaction is embarrassing. The media are loving it. To think Ashley was the one that brought the man back in the first place. I am pretty sure he did his best to make things work. Keegan is out of order. God knows what clubs wanted for the players Keegan wanted? Should Ashley have brought them in regardless? Just because Keegan demanded it? I'm sure they tried, but if not possible then surely they had to look at other options making use of a quality scouting network? He was given good players, who he was getting the best out of and things had started out brilliantly and he still wasn't happy. It's not an ideal world, things aren't always perfect, sometimes you have to show a little faith and be out of your comfort zone a little bit. Keegan didn't give it enough of a chance for me. At least he could have waited to see if thes players were bad or if it was too difficult to work with them, or if the team was faltering badly because of them.
