Apparently the deals for the players Citeh have signed under Shineywhatwhat have all been structured "very unusually", mostly involving bugger all down and loads to follow. They owe shit loads of money even on Sven's first signings. I should temper this by adding that I got this info from Mike "Porky Twat" Parry on TalkSport, so in terms of accuracy, it could have come from the shambling wreck of a homeless dude who asked me for some change "so i can pay to park my car" on the way in to work this morning.

Perhaps he disappeared up his own arse the way he was acting after a few bright months under Sven. Bit harsh, dude.

Very nice chap who was a regular poster here. Man City supporter. Disappeared without trace a few months ago.

Yours look horrid atm. Captain going, signed 2 yank GK's & picked up ginger cockney. I'm happy with the keepers, very. And Sidwell. The problem is that we still need another 5 or 6 decent players to stand still, and it just isn't happening. We've got 2 fit defenders at the club, and one of those is Zat Knight. And Stephen Carr is still unattached. Fuck Barry, the sooner the fat arsed cunt gets out of the club, the better.

Re Dr Spectrum, I searched on mancityfans.net (I know he used to post there) for mentions of him, and they have noticed his absence too. http://www.mancityfans.net/mcfnet/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=26876&start=0&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&hilit=spectrum I hope he's alright. HIs profile there shows his last visit as 13th March.

This transfer window is fucking awful.

Is it Richard Dunne again? Both sessions for MJ to talk about his imagination problems. I reckon they're signing GOD and JESUS CHRIST.

Incidentally, the worst thing is that clubs like Newcastle, Villa and Everton seem content to sit back and do next to nothing whilst Spurs steal a march. And that's me with my negative hat on. Because I've seen nothing from any of those clubs to suggest otherwise.

I put Spurs slightly ahead of Pompey now. I agree, Spurs are doing very well, I just think traditional "big" clubs like Newcastle, Villa and Everton seem to be stood around doing bugger all, sneering at Redknapp, whilst he puts together a pretty impressive set up. Mmmmmmm not sure about spurs. there main problem for the last few years has been lack of strength, physically, defensivly and i don't see that being remidied. i can see sours going 4-2-3-1 next season but i have no idea who their vital "2" will be. Today they've bought - or practically bought - two excellent midfielders. What's to say they won't buy two excellent defenders and a DM in the 6 weeks between now and the end of the transfer window.

I agree For our fans as well as yours.

Spurs are definitely the team looking best equipped to do things. Villa have a pathetically small squad which MON has allowed to disintegrate, and a terminal inability to conclude deals without fuss, Newcastle seem to be gripped by stasis, Everton haven't got a pot to piss in, West Ham have had their financial rug pulled from beneath them and are lumbered with a squad of high-earning, injury prone wasters. Hate Redknapp though I do, he has done pretty well this window. So Portsmouth and Spurs seem to be switched on.

It was quite clear at the time. Although, I admit, he could have provided written confirmation, or perhaps have got his agent to call TalkSport and report that, actually, yes, there he was.

THat made me laugh. 2013 for Dawson. Mellberg scoring then turning to wave at Dawson who was supposed to be marking him, and shouting "here I am" was one of my favourite moments of last season. I'd love to see that. Think Brummie imagined it. I can't post video, but this is shortly after. Observe Mellberg, arms outstretched, plus hapless Dawson (nearest Spurs player). http://d.yimg.com/eur.yimg.com/ng/sp/empics/20080101/18/1254537127-soccer-barclays-premier-league-aston-villa-v-tottenham-hotspur-villa.jpg

I'd love to see that. Ditto. I'll try to find footage on a well known video website, but what happened was Dawson was pulling Mellberg all over the place, Mellberg lost him, scored, then turned to face Dawson, rooted to the spot, arms spread out wide and nodded his head to say "here I am" whilst grinning his big, beardy smile. He's on a downward spiral now, but fucking hell, I'm going to miss Mellberg. He got us.

I was driving home and listening to TwatSport when Arshavin's agent came on, and I honestly thought I'd need to pull over and puke up a large part of my colonic innards.

Not desperate for the deal to come back to life at all, just for it to be resolved one way or the other. We want to keep the player. Liverpool want him so much they've offered way off what we want, but then spunk more on Robbie Keane without batting an eyelid. Barry wanted the move so much he wouldn't put in a trasnfer request (which Keane did). We don't need the cash, but we do need to know where we stand in terms of planning for the season. That's the important thing.
-
Strictly speaking, it hasn't been called off, as calling it off implies that it was on. We had a price, they didn't offer it, end of.
-
We're going to turn them down - we don't need the money - the difference is that Barry needs to say he wants to stay.

Did you get your cock out again? I already had it out. Something about the thud of boot on leather gives me the right fucking horn.

Uh oh. People in "taking anything, ANYTHING heard on TalkSport seriously" fatal error.

I was a couple of rows from the front, in perfect line with it when it happened. Heard him scream, then saw him holding his leg in the air. Everyone around us gasped, a girl next to me said "i feel sick" and the place went very quiet.

Bouma was fantastic last season, a real contender for player of the year. He's a top pro, and it is gutting that this should happen. I was a couple of rows from the front and had a very good view of what happened. It was one of those moments when everyone gasps and the place goes deadly quiet. Dislocated, apparently that can be worse than an actual break.

Can you do that anyway? It sounds weirdly intriguing I'm not your performing bitch. I've got standards, you know
