    Alan Pardew

the extremism on this forum makes Al Qaeda look like a bunch of choir boys
  2. At the edit. Given recent trends, I felt that some people might need it.
  3. Colocho, you're like the taste-tester for all my posts. If you ever agree with me I'm retiring.
  4. They're both black Englishmen who score goals, I don't see how they could possibly be that different. ... Just in case it isn't clear enough, I'm being sarcastic guys
  5. Nah, I just continue to get involved in Kevin Keegan arguments because I'm an attention whore and you guys just keep biting.
  6. Not even remotely comparable. Why is it not comparable? Because we worship our national team while you lot seem to make a point of hating it with a passion, and you're talking about a bunch of English players playing in an English league while I'm talking about the first Korean to play in the Premiership and only the second to have played a significant role at a top European club for any reasonable period of time? All of which should become irrelevant when he's playing for the side that your team will be up against. As an aside about the national team, I actively support them, I don't hate them. It is different though. I'm sorry I have to say it this way but... ah... I don't expect any of you to be able to understand. I'm still 100% behind Newcastle of course. Interestingly enough, most of my countrymen would fine this completely inexplicable and borderline treasonous
  7. For the record, I wouldn't hate Jose if he left for something like 10~15 million. It's been a good few years, he stayed with us in the Championship, and would be leaving us with a tidy profit. I'd rather keep him, but I could live with it.
  8. Defoe's just a shit Darren Bent really.

  10. It's a bit difficult when we sold him on the 11th hour on transfer deadline day Proof will be this summer. There's so much to be proven this summer man. Hope for the best but keep those pitchforks and shotguns at the ready.
  11. I'd actually be more concerned about Colo. He's going to be in this exact same situation in a year's time and he's on ridiculous wages that we're clearly not going to offer to him again. You'd hope he'd be willing to budge a bit given his age, but doesn't he need to halve his wages to stay under our wage structure? It's not beyond the realm of possibility that we might even try to get him off the wage bill if we get something like a 10m offer this summer. Could surprise everyone by selling Colo and keeping Enrique.
  12. There's absolutely no evidence that we're looking to "sell all our best players and replace them on the cheap." First of all, we've only sold Carroll. Second, we haven't replaced him
  13. Support your team man, not the guy from your country playing for manu! He's allowed to score a consolation after we're 4-0 up.
  14. Obviously Park will score just to drive me insane with conflicting emotions.
  15. Ah well, all of this is conjecture. For all we know Jose has been banging on his agent's door to get ready for contract negotiations as soon as we're mathematically safe and we've been getting depressed for nothing.
  16. Tidied that up for you. You're not pessimistic enough.
  17. I don't think Williamson needs replacing unless we'rlooking at champions league.
  18. That Lpool is spending stupid money doesn't necessarily mean that they're more ambitious. They paid over price on Carroll, Johnson and Paulson. Cole flopped. Is this a sound strategy? We're having a more sensible approach, but that's not the same as lack of ambitions. Everybody was satisfied with us staying up this season. The club and players have exceeded our expectations. Is not possible to positive? Can't we wait until after the transfer window before we start criticizing the clubs policy? Wasn't saying Liverpool are great, or that I wasn't pleased with how we've done this season. We've done really well. Just trying to see this from a player's point of view. that's all. Doesn't even need to be over-analyzed to that extent. Ultimately, they're Liverpool and we're Newcastle, its obvious which club any professional would be more attracted to.
  19. Let's not forget, since we're against Man United, Jose Enrique will be playing out of his skin to impress and earn his dream move to Liverpool
  20. Don't feel that bad about losing him now that we've gone a few matches without him through injury. At the end of the day, he's a great player but he doesn't influence the results of games as much as a similarly valued player in a different position would.
  21. Did okay. Feel like he's got a bit of the creativity he had at Mallorca back in recent games. makes some really decent crosses and diagonal passes. Doesn't help when you have lovenkrands and ranger to aim at
  22. I'm willing to tolerate this shit in games that don't matter but man, we better have new strikers(plural) next season.
