  1. Think this has been in the pipeline for a while now, which was why all our primary targets this window were RWs. I suppose Pardew sees Gosling as an RW

  3. First half ends 3-1 We're absolutely taking the piss here. ridiculous back heels and dummies abound and we're not even celebrating the goals.
  4. And 2-1. What a stupid penalty to give away. This is shaping up to be utterly insane
  5. South Korea 2 - 0 India We're only eight minutes in
  6. Headline in a Korean newspaper: "Saudis crash out of group stages... run out of people to sack"
  7. They're getting Owen in to replace Bent. I just know it, it has to happen. Heck, they'll probably use the money to pick up Charlie Insomnia too just to make it even more comical.

As it should. It's nice having two sexy cars but if somebody offered you more than market value for one of them you'd have to sell it. In the end, you can only drive one.
  9. If Wellbeck has a long-term injury then surely they'll pull the plug on this deal, for better or worse?
  10. Wait, guys, I get it now. This is all part of the plan to bring the one and only England's Michael Owen to Sunderland.
  11. If Ashley pulled cash out of his own pocket to match that bid right here and now, a lot of things would be forgiven.
  12. We're 7 points off the zone but we're also 9 teams away from the zone. That means we have to basically have form that's 7 points or more worse than basically the entire bottom half of the table right now.
  13. If we had the money I'd shell out about 10m for Agbonlahor.
  14. Injured. Thought it was a big blow but his replacement has scored all three of our three goals, so I guess it turned out okay.
  15. Stupid useless Saudis
  16. None in none out would really, honestly be an acceptable conclusion to this transfer window assuming that our goal for the season is to avoid relegation.
  17. This is a brilliant signing for Villa. When you're sinking like a rock and you have one opportunity to spunk a huge wad of cash on a single player who would come save you from relegation, that man is Darren Bent every single time. Don't see how it makes any sense for Sunderland though. What was that about their board having more ambition than ours?
  18. He's lucky to be in the Everton job ffs. We're underperforming massively. http://thedogatemycareplan.files.wordpress.com/2010/10/pretty_please.jpg Swap? Pretty please?
  19. Alan Smith? http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20070206120652/uncyclopedia/images/5/5d/058.jpg

  21. Just look back to tonight before you're about to vote for Mike/Baba/Towelie/Kaiz as best foreign poster next December
  22. Obviously they're a much better team. Particularly the quality of their midfield is so much higher it's not even funny. No match is hopeless though and I'll got into this with the feeling that we could get something. Miss the good 'ol days when we used to beat them 3~4 goals to whatever every single damn time
  23. We're probably witnessing what Rooney would have been like from the start if he signed for Newcastle.

    Danny Guthrie

He was our best option in central midfield for most of our relegation season. I don't know if that means he's regressed or that Alan Smith and Nicky Butt were just that bad.
  25. I agree. We are good enough to do whatever they do - better. Think we'll both sink down to our proper position at lower mid table soon enough. Bolton are still leading candidates to nick that "last" (depending on cup winners) European spots, especially once the Asian Cup ends.
