  1. Pardew Beardsley Kinnear Can't think of anyone beyond that

    Sunderland...

4points above relegation whilst having gained only 9 points from 24 (i think) at home isn't stable mid table obscurity. still rather face it with hughton than pardew though. Gee thanks, because what I really wanted to do was argue fucking semantics

    Sunderland...

I'd give anything to have the stable mid-table obscurity they have right now. Oh wait, up until two days ago we did!
  4. IMO, we need to be as vocally disapproving of our owner as Liverpool fans were of theirs (cringeworthy as it may have been.) Ad far as I'm concerned getting ashley out takes priority over performances on the pitch. It's a terrible thing to have to say but it's my opinion.
  5. I'd very happily take relegation to league 2 if it got Ashley out of the club. Unfortunately, the cunt will probably follow us all the way to the conference.

    Alan Pardew

Our options are basically him or Beardsley on a permanent I reckon. Not sure which I would prefer.
  7. I'll choose to credit you with enough sense not to really be suggesting we could get relegated and retain all our players. But players like Milner and Given were sold before we were relegated? Both handed in formal transfer requests. Stunning fact: Ashley has never sold anybody against his will. I agree that we should be worried about players leaving, but that's because I think they'll want to leave. Not because we're suddenly a "selling club", whatever that even means.
  8. I don't see how you could even argue that yesterday doesn't change everything.

    Alan Pardew

Probably happen under Pardew anyway. There's a difference between "no manager" and "shit manager." Even Joe Kinnear was an improvement over "no manager."

Or they could have said thanks chris, thanks very much for promotion but we dont think you can handle thme prem, or let him see the season out. Well yes, we could have also not handed over half of Eastern Europe to that Adolf guy 70 years ago. Pointless thinking about that now.

    Alan Pardew

It's terrible I know but a feel obligated to mention that perhaps Pardew coming in before Saturday isn't the worst thing that could happen considering that the alternative is to go two months without a manager dropping points left and right until Joe Kinnear arrives.

It's enough to make you question the point of being a football supporter when you realize that one maniac's impulsive decision can ruin your club for the foreseeable future.
  13. You and I both know that's exactly what he did.
  14. Even if we get a Christmas miracle and suddenly appoint Martin Jol, that doesn't change a whole lot. Mike Ashley will still be in charge of the club and therefore will be there to fuck it all up at the worst possible moment.
  15. brilliant!! by the way you must be loving this oldtype? dragged yourself out of your despair only for this to happen Investing emotional capital in NUFC is like opening an air-conditioning business in Alaska.
  16. Yeah, 2+2=4, however this is Ashley we are talking about, don't underestimate his ability to f*** up big style. He's the sort of guy who after peace talks accidently sits on the missile launch button. too true though.. Yeah, 2+2=4, however this is Ashley we are talking about, don't underestimate his ability to f*** up big style. He's the sort of guy who after peace talks accidently sits on the missile launch button. too true though.. Mike Ashley, the Kim Jeong-Il of football.
  17. Hmm, I dunno. Depends how desperate he is to get back into the Premiership and how much Ashley and Llambias may or may not have already lied to him. If we end up getting someone like Pardew in then I'm with Dave in the sense that they're deliberately f***ing us over, but tbf I've said similar before. They're a f***ing joke. I'll never trust them. Coming here is career suicide for any manager with a decent reputation. Pure and simple. Also, lest we forget, the reason Jol left Spurs in the first place was conflict with the board as well. I'm sure he'd love to come work under someone who makes the Spurs board look like Mother Teresa.
  18. Careful. This club ain't a shithole. It just has a shitbag owner that's all. Whatever it was it's too covered in Mike Ashley's bodily waste now to be anything else.
  19. You know things are bad when Ronaldo is asking for positivity
  20. There is no way a manager of Jol's caliber would come anywhere near this shithole of a club.
  21. I am logging off now because continuing to read your posts will resulting in me typing myself into a three day ban.
  22. Mods, remove if this isn't allowed... Some of the songs they sing about the Glazers are f***ing great. I'd happily see that belted out of SJP. What the Glazers "did" to Man United is absolutely nothing compared to what Ashley's done here. Bunch of whimps.
  23. Is it possible that Beardsley could get the job by default after every manager under the sun turns down Ashley and his cunts?
  24. Dear fucking me, I don't even have the tools to evaluate Beardsley being given the job.
