Think J.Cole should have come on for him instead of Rooney.
-
Hope Upson stays in the teams and won't be dropped for Jamie "I'm tired after 20 minutes" Carragher.
-
Word on the street here btw is that Jerome Boateng will start today. Yet to be confirmed but still, if that happens he'd play against his half-brother. Interesting.

Come on Carlos Eugênio Simon! http://www.ghananewsagency.org/s_sports/r_17118/ If he cards Schweinsteiger or Lahm I'm celebrating like we scored. Quite realistic as well. This referee is known as "The Sheriff"

Have that as well. Edit: And a bit on England (-1) and England to win to nill. One was right and if Serbia and Germany both get a win I'll be happy. Will probably put 2 or 3 € on Boateng to score for Ghana tonight.
-
Just means Germany (probably) instead of Ghana/Serbia. From then on it's the same as it would have been. I'm not sure tbh, i thought we'd have got Uraguay or S. Korea, now we've got Argentina or mexico. No chance for Mexico imo.
-
That's what I've said before, too. If Lahm and Schweinsteiger got suspended I'd say England will go through without many problems.
-
3 or 7.30. have they not decided? It's 3.
-
Don't think Germany will be THAT big problem. Unexperienced side, will probably have some important players (Lahm for example) suspended. On the other hand - England have still to improve.
-
Hopefully something like that as that seems quite offensive. Hoping for a 3-0 win or something like that as this would mean top of the group and "only" Serbia in the next round.
-
Not playing on the RW he hasn't. Exactly. Milner simply can't play effectively out wide imo. Don't understand btw why Capello doesn't play him through the middle.

Feels a bit like Premier League today. 3 PM kick off

There was only one Germany that time. Pretty sure they were still West Germany then. They were. Just checked it. They were indeed, didn't know that. Strange but true.
-
Rooney does too much work for a striker, I don't like to see him running around so much. Get in the box more baldy. Rooney should do the same he does for Man Utd. Scoring goals >> work rate.

Oh, so close, so close. Should have thought about that. Korea didn't need a win. Haven't taken that into consideration.
-
Kinnear tbh. At least Kinnear will fall sick once in a while to make way for Houghton! Right, but it's still Hughton.
-
2 done, 1 to go. Please do it South Korea. Really would need this.
-
Cheeky bet on him being our next manager? Him manager and Joe Kinnear DoF. Llambias managing director. What a dream team.

1 € on SA to win 4-0 and Uruguay win double (live bet)

I give it a little try for today: 4 € on South Arfrica (dnb), Uruguay, South Korea. Returns 80 + .

Why? They simply have to win against Chile and are through. Chile's GD at the moment is + 2. Spain's is + 1. So in case of Spain winning it would make: Chile: +1, Spain + 2. Spain are through as soon as they win against Chile. Or did I get something wrong here?

France and Ivory Coast. Not too sure about Germany as they had one great game and one which wasn't that good. Young team - don't know how they'll react under that pressure now, but I expect them to go through. Same with England, I think it'll be a close win against Slovenia.

Tie-breaking criteria For the World Cup tournament, FIFA uses the following criteria to rank teams in the Group Stage. 1. greatest number of points in all group matches; 2. goal difference in all group matches; 3. greatest number of goals scored in all group matches; 4. greatest number of points in matches between tied teams; 5. goal difference in matches between tied teams; 6. greatest number of goals scored in matches between tied teams; 7. drawing of lots by the FIFA Organising Committee. So aye, I think so. Well, that's a bit shit imo. Always thought that they would use the fair-play table then.
