  1. tiote, sissoko, abeid, anita, colback, kemen, bigi fucking midfielders all over the place man, some of them are going to have to go
  2. you're not meant for this world ian
  3. before winegum i'd have agreed but we've got AM's falling over themselves if we swapped cabella for a player who is comfortable and actually good in wide positions then i could like with it i reckon, as long as there was a tactical reason behind it because we've no wide players and millions who can play centrally (cabella might make it wide in a better team with more movement but i'm not convinced) Although he can play there, Winegum is gonna play CM as he played there all last season. come on this has been on repeat for days cabella, de jong & perez are all arguably number 10's or whatever you want to call that position behind the striker and winegum can play there at a push as can vuckic short story we're well covered there and if we have a choice to swap cabella for a top class wide man we'd be mental not to take it, though in an ideal world i'd get shot of de jong because i'm convinced he'll barely ever play for the club
  4. lets have a link to his message to sunderland fans, they probably had a flowers fund all ready to go
  5. Bit of an absurd statement given that he's easily the best deep-lying midfielder we've got. Would sooner play without a holding midfielder than waste a shirt on Anita. Aye, it's not like he was by far the best player on the pitch in our last competitive game or anything. He was, it was a very good performance. Unfortunately it didn't make up for the months of shite. You mean when he was sitting on the bench wondering what the fuck he did wrong in a previous life while utter dross like Ryan Taylor and Colback were starting in midfield ahead of him? would also point out that in that last game he wasn't even close to playing as DM so why you'd sell him based on that when he's probably better further up the pitch is beyond me suspect vurn and wingegum will link up very well together

  7. Need De Jong in there somewhere too. So many options in midfield, so little in defence and attack Sissoko being shifted into the front 3? or just sold on? Whatever way you try to cut our midfield options and fit them in it becomes abundantly clear we must get rid of about 4 of them minimum or we'll just have wage packets sitting on the bench doing fuck all.
  8. Would be the best thing that could happen to football tbh
  9. In those circumstances, at normal clubs, you meet the fee and offer the player a good deal to convince him quickly it's the right place to come. We'll leave the lowball offer on the table until he takes it or another club bids.
  10. Doesn't he mean if he somehow got the England job?
  11. agree about anita though i'm not sure he'll get as far as he should due to the surplus of midfielders we've got
  12. fuck it, hopefully winegum will have him in his pocket when we play them
  13. His best form, by some distance, was the 5th finish season (or at least the last 10 games of it where everything was just clicking). I honestly don't really care about this transfer at all. Good player on his day, but he left... get over it. He can go anywhere he wants for all I care. This. his best period for me was the 6 months prior to him leaving tbh Yep. 5th season the rest of the team was doing it's job and he was nothing special within that imo, albeit he was good. Before he left he literally carried the team and made it all tick. I disagree with that, literally everything going forward went through him, he dictated play in a hell of a lot of games and provided some important goals and beautiful assists, no way would we have made Europe without him. Go back and look at the amount of goals Ba and Cisse got from chasing long balls or shooting from miles away. It wasn't Cabs season.

  15. Isn't he rated to be the better than Depay as well? not according to UB iirc, depay supposedly by far the most talented of the two

  17. if we're getting this guy i hope they're working on crossing in training
  18. Think we'd get at least some takers if we actively tried to get rid, i.e. nominal or no fees for the utter shite. Can't see that working for Mike though. On the other hand the likes of Marv will be on wages high enough to put a lot of due to his inviting injury record.
  19. i'd possibly keep him too, but we seem well stocked in that department really, would prefer to see cabella given a solid chance in a decent team anyway that list suggests outgoings are massively important to us
  20. we've got to start getting rid of some of the shite like, there's no two ways about it elliot williamson saylor gouffran vuckic obertang riviere marv ferguson good bigi granted some are not shite but they need moving on, there's a full there ffs and most of them contribute absolutely nothing positive
  21. i thought he wasn't a club legend in actual fact but that's the line being span since he took the job? hopefully anyway, they'll turn on him that much faster
  22. Cameroonian defenders though Caniggia tackle will live with me always.

  24. Agree. As he himself admits though, it means nothing without action. i'd love to know who he got his opinions from to form the basis of these 1 to 1 chats with the players, "people have been saying this about you" etc.
