  1. Would say one thing - it's very clear they learned from the mistakes made by the participants in the first season. Felt heavily censored, hardly any players or manager in it, the others all carefully selected imo. Must have cut absolutely mountains of stuff.
  2. Not as enjoyable as s1 by a long chalk. Methven did his utmost to give the audience a replacement for Martin Bain but otherwise there were very few reprehensible characters. Felt for the players as well, opposite to the other season in that a lot are trying to make their way up in the game etc.
  3. EDM for the walk in music and doing the opposite of what the manager wanted ref Griggs just so they could look the big men are the highlights so far.
  4. Just watched the intro to s2 e1 and if Methven isn't the perfect example of a useless cunt getting by cause he sounds posh and clever I'll be amazed.
  5. Completely different and its pretty obvious. Dinosaur isn't a reference to age necessarily, but more their characteristics as a coach. Not that I'm on the Keegan bandwagon, but he's the polar opposite of Bruce in so many ways. If you think Keegan, with his years off before us and ten year off after us, will be a more modern and progressive coach than Bruce then I don't even know what to say to you. You simply can't be that dumb. Yimentov is right about the motivation aspect but even assuming he's still "got it" you're talking about a club that would need a top down rebuild from playing staff, coaching staff through to youth system and facilities. Ludicrous idea.
  6. Any chance you could summarise? I’m kinda busy at work at moment Tsk
  7. Keegan? We don't deserve nice things man.
  8. Yep. There’ll be a fair few who’ll say he was harshly sacked. Might be best he stays a little while and shoots himself in the foot. I'll have no words if Staveley brings Rafa back like Just can't see it though, he'll see his contract out unless they want him gone.
  9. Imagine the bait would be bland, lack creativity and be route one straight out the microwave. Aye, without a doubt he’s going to get a takeaway every day. Players would be far as f***. He's not head chef material like, washing dishes and that. He knows his level.
  10. Best case scenario they bring Rafa back and make Bruce work his contact in the club canteen but he's not allowed to eat any of the food.
  11. Don't do it to yourself, Paully. It'll be gutting if Caulkin has put this story out with no substance to back it up. Why didn't he just leave well alone ? He's got links to Staveley - there is no way he'd have penned that article without a lot of belief and inside info that this was happening - he always remains quiet on takeovers so it's a huge thing for me this! What I don't get though is that if the first 'leak' in January supposedly caused problems, why publish this story now? We know that Ashley is vindictive and likely to change his mind on a whim. For the sake of argument, let's say that it is close, why put it at risk by publishing this story? What's to say it doesn't p*ss Ashley off and he scraps the whole thing. Caulkin has his contacts and probably trusts the info he has. I just don't trust Ashley one iota and therefore don't think that this is happening. Caulkin has said previously that he believes Staveley is genuine based on conversations with her, but couldn't guarantee she was. That's my worry here, that there is a possibility she's been using Caulkin as he's trusted by fans. Yeap, I think she's not trust worthy at all. Based on what Caulkin doesn't have that tone at all in his own article like. Chances are he's dropped this because it's passed an important point and the Telegraph article has kicked everyone else into gear.
  12. In a way it would be a shame that it happened during lockdown, football is in limbo at the minute, makes it a bit harder to celebrate. But still...f*** yeah if it happens. I think the opposite. Imagine football is shut down until June or July, we emerge from our nuclear bunkers to new owners and Steve Bacon replaced by a proper manager ahead of the next transfer window Yeah but we have to wait until June at the earliest to celebrate it, will be fantastic when we get there, but right now it feels like football is a million miles away. Couldn't give a shite about the wait. Would increase the joy imo.

  14. We are rotten to the fucking core. Players should be taking the hit and cutting wages to pay the staff themselves. Pretty damning that Barcelona's players have done just that, but I guess that's what being a genuine football club is about. They are all in it together. mad that messi called the board out again said they were blackmailing them or whatever, has he signed that new contract yet? wild if he fucks off to teach them a lesson
  15. wonder if he smells some delicious disaster capitalism on the horizon for himself, +£300m in ready cash would buy a lot of shite alright
  16. We are rotten to the f***ing core. Players should be taking the hit and cutting wages to pay the staff themselves. Exactly, I'd bet the number of staff on our books is far lower than similar PL clubs as well. Very surprised indeed Lascelles hasn't led the charge, but then again he seems to have gone to s*** under Bruce on and off the pitch a bit. Good to see Brucey also taking the lead, he's a local lad that loves the club don't you know. The players need to step in here, this shocking I bet we only have about 50 staff. Rafa would have had it all sorted by now. Typical of Bruce that he's not even smart enough to get himself some good pr at a time like this. Cunts probably ringing every kebab shop in the yellow pages making sure he's got plenty of options.

  19. Also indulging things for a moment I don't agree with what neesy says. If they were buying the club it'll be part of a long term strategic investment plan with money allocated. They'll know things will recover eventually so can't see them chucking everything in the bin cause of CV19 personally. Their thing is vision 2030 right, that's still a long ways away.
