  1. I'm pleased that I was the only one competing that saw Sunderland's demise coming from miles away.
  2. I'd get Mitro on ALL my shirts.
  3. Looking solely at those stats I'd only take him above Henderson. With a broader view, I'd have taken him above Wilshire and Livermore as well as he offers something different. You'd only take him ahead of England's most consistent midfielder, an ever-present in a team that's in the Champions League final and will be probably going for the title next season? Dier and Henderson shouldn't be on there tbf, goals and assists aren't what they're about. I said looking at the stats. When not looking at the stats he'd be in front of Wilshire and Livermore. The "as well" was a mistaken inclusion. He'd naturally be in the team if looking at everything else than just stats. That said, I've never been very impressed by Henderson - personally But he'd naturally be in the team if judged by everything else than stats.
  4. We should be looking up not down*, man. Fulham would be nicer to have come up. * Until Rafa potentially leaves, at least.

  6. Absolutely Away goal rule is absolute bullshit.

    Sunderland

It'd be quite fun to buy RTG and redirect it to: on a loop.
  8. I'd have Torres as second choice if he's on a free.
  9. Genuine question but how do new residential flats look better than student flats? Not seen a decent new build, aesthetically. Not sure, but assume it's to do with students being desperate for accommodation - so they will make bank even without spending extra on appearances. People buying a flat are thinking of appearances, so it matters more. Hence it's "cheaper" to just throw up some blocks for students than working on making things look pleasing to the eye to attract buyers.
  10. That's true to some extent but he was always a heavy player. Age catches that up. Ronaldo is the same age and is nowhere near as fucked as Rooney imo. Ronaldo is a beast though, to be fair. He's lived like a machine his entire career. Rooney's very British in his lifestyle, even though he's a pro as well.
  11. ill bash ye fookin ead in i sware on me mum
  12. Rooney was 16 when he made it into the Everton first team so he's been playing top division football for 16 years. His body will have taken a hammering. Yeah I think people underestimate this a lot in footballers, especially so in 'explosive players' like Rooney. Its the same with Fernando Torres, he was palying regularly at the top level since 17 and people were wondering why he was finished at 29.
  13. The gold sponsor clashes with the pink terribly there imo. YOU'RE clashing with the pink terribly!
  14. You really dislike the Welsh do you man ? Is there are story you want to share with us ? They should play in their own league, or all UK teams should play in the same league system. Either would be fine. Cardiff, Swansea, Wrexham, and even Newport have been a part of English football since they were founded. I don’t see why people suddenly have a problem with them whenever 1 of them turns up in the Premier League. They're Welsh. They should either play in the Welsh league or the English league system should be a UK league system. I accept I may be in the minority here, but it bugs me. Same as the Canadian teams in the MLS. If the MLS was known as "The American and Canadian Soccer League" or something, sure, fine. But as it stands, there's a US league (MLS) as well as a Canadian league, so fuck off. Either have it combined officially or stay the fuck in your own country. The MLS means ‘Major League Soccer’, nothing in the name says USA. Also there is Canadian teams in the NBA, and Canadian teams in the NHL. Really weird that a Scandinavian is on an English football clubs forums complaining about Welsh teams in the English football League system and Canadians in a primiarily USA based league system. But the point is valid. If a nation, or principality has it's own national league system, it's own separate FA affiliated to UEFA etc and it's own National team that plays in FIFA and UEFA competitions, it just doesn't sit right that they should have league sides playing in other nations league structures. I get that this is probably a minority view and that it won't change but irks the hell out of me and always has. What about Guernsey who have a club team in the English lower leagues and are trying to have a national team? If they get a national FA and a national (at the very least semi-pro) top division, they shouldn't be allowed in another nations league. French teams for instance are petitioning UEFA to ban Monaco from European football because they say it is wrong that a non-French team occupy a French spot in the CL/EL. The MLS does not have "US" in its name, but it's governed by the US FA. It's a US league that allows Canadian teams to participate in it. There's a professional Canadian Soccer League. I do not enjoy Canadian teams participating in other US based leagues in other sports.
  15. If we lose, it'll not be by more than one or two goals. We don't really get humped scoreline-wise anymore.
  16. Rooney off to DC United in July.
  17. From Wiki...? “Nicknamed Lücke - or ‘Gap’ - on account of his distinctive front teeth. He has a wife called Lisa. Following an accident at Werder Bremen’s training ground he once ended up hospitalised with the tooth of his teammate wedged in his forehead. He listens to Survivor’s 'Eye of the Tiger' for motivation.” Never heard of him, but 25 years old, 6’2, and decent scoring record. 1 in 3.2

  20. So frustrated that just when one Welsh turd flushes, another comes up.
  21. Of ye of little faith... draw nailed on, and losses for both Swansea and Southampton at the weekend at the same time as West Brom comes out of their match victorious. #fuckpardew
  22. £5 on that third division team facing off against PSG in the French Cup @ 61.00
  23. I, for one, would love Balotelli. If only for the #bantz.
