  1. I have said this before, but who actually bites people? It is such a bizarre action to take at any time during life, never mind on a football pitch in front of billion people. Throughout my life, I have encountered many tough, aggressive, and/or crazy people and not one of them has gone around ripping human flesh with their teeth. A global ban is possible. Mputu received a 12 month one a while back.
  2. Which one? The one anyone with common sense would be watching. I'm guessing humidity? I don't know, totally underwhelming for such an important game. Maybe. Even the crowd is half-dead. It's reminding me of the friendly in Jacksonville.
  3. The one will the ringlets, next to boobarella. Bimpy pls I dunno, just think she's alright like. Must be the chipmunk cute cheeks. She is a normal, pleasant faced girl that you will pass about once a day in her country, tbh. It's genuinely difficult to compare her to the identikit model types on the rest of the page.
  4. Italy bring in De Sciglio along with Immobile, to go two upfront. I've thought that Balo was incredibly isolated in the first two matches.
  5. They have Omeruo too, who is 20 and his country's best centreback by a distance, so clearly the answer was to also buy Zouma. Obviously there are several advantages to what they are doing, but imo, it hurts them in terms of the actual squad that gets to play matches. People like Courtois, Lukaku, the aforementioned Omeruo, and many others are already making noises about leaving because their loans and performances indicate to them they are ready, but Chelsea still have to be careful not to upset the status quo with their established players too much.
  6. Chile players seem to fall down in the box an incredible amount.
  7. He was, but he was running into open space the entire match. You would think Portugal would eventually learn. Every single spell of US pressure and he could be seen standing on the right with no one within ten yards.
  8. I like Moses as a talent (his natural strength, pace, and dribbling ability is so impressive), but currently he is an annoyingly selfish and indisciplined player that looks to be carrying too much weight. I think sitting on the bench all year at Liverpool has affected him to be fair though. He was great at Wigan two years ago and a fairly important contributor to Chelsea last season while being in imperious form internationally as well. There has been little sign of this player at either level for a full year now.
  9. Portugal were atrocious today. The US was its usual self, physical, stubborn, and brave, but from the gift in the 3rd minute to the amazing cross at the death, Portugal offered nothing to the game. Ghana should be licking their lips, tbh. From almost certain death, to a decent position (given the circumstances) in an instant. I can't see any result other than a comprehensive Germany win on Thursday. The Americans would have to hope for a draw, or 1-0 Portugal victory, if that was the case.
  10. Plus the North Africans are always able to draft in some more French players when the squad needs topping up. What? They continuously lose their best players to European nations.. Like whom? Benzema for example would be playing for them if he couldn't get into France. Like most African sides, they pick up the scraps when it comes to diasporan players.
  11. This Algerian team was outplayed and didn't deserve to beat Burkina Faso in the qualification playoff and picked up only one point at the 2013 ACN, losing to Togo in the process. As always, World Cup is a totally different stage
  12. They look like France in Euro 2012. Not inventive going forward at all despite having incredibly inventive players.
  13. Shola Ameobi is hardly is hardly comparable to Diego Costa for goodness sake. I still think that the best English manager is Steve McLaren, tbh. It's a shame about 2008, though.
  14. Italy was complicit and actively participated in aerial attack on Britain, yet Capello got his millions. Cameroon was cut and sliced repeatedly by Britain, Germany, and France yet hire French and German managers repeatedly. Et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.
  15. It would be incredible for our football if 2 or 3 of the nations can make it to the knockout round. The continent generally has always shown its potential at these tournaments, but it has always been one at a time carrying the flag. Depending on the results later today, four of them could have the task right in front of them on the last matchday.
  16. I have high hopes for Chuks, tbh. I've been waiting for him to officialy change his nationality and get the hell out of England, so this pleased me.
  17. It is ridiculous how much slower he is than every one else on the team. We were breaching the Bosnians all match with pace, strength, and aggressiveness. I don't know why he thought Shola would help this.
  18. To All the non-believers!!! Keshi (and several New Zealand officials and referees) has made me put my foot in my mouth and I am glad to keep it there. Sixteen long years, and we have another win at the World Cup. My heart is still pounding from the Enyeama save at the end, and Moses need to replace Musa, but for now I rest happy. A draw against Argentina is not impossible, and would be enough to see them through. Other than this, hopefully Bosnia show up and punish a Iran team that must open up.
  19. Chuks Aneke to Zulte Waregem after release from Arsenal.
