if i had been Roeder tonight i would have taken dyer off for Rossi, put rossi on the left and Milner on the right, brought sibierski on for Parker and shoved him upfront. I wouldn't have left it til the 86th minute neither, i would have done it on about 60minutes.

If parker played in a 5-a-side he would be the best player in the world. He is still a quality player but just needs to release the ball alot quicker, I agree Butt and Emre is the best partnership and we will pick up more points with them two but it's a real shame that parker can't fit himself into the team.

Given - 6. Poor kicking, poor postioning for the goal. Tidy game otherwise.

 

Solano - 7. Very cool, calm and collected and majorly unlucky to have been treated how he was.

Taylor - 7. Solid, very.

Ramage - 7. Solid.

Huntington - 6. He was OK, struggled to keep possession, though.

 

Dyer - 5. Poor game from Dyer. Didn't beat any of his men and lost possession far too cheaply.

Parker - 5. Slowed down attacks and basically was just anonymous. Was he on the pitch in the second half?

Butt - 6. Alright, nowt special.

Milner - 6. He was OK, but he needed to get his crosses in much earlier.

 

Emre - 7. Played well, linked up well with Butt and caused a lot of problems. This lad might work in a 4-4-2...

 

Martins - 6. Oba did what he could. Very good in the first half, caused lots of problems. Faded in the second because there was no one with him, Roeder.

come off it lad, yes maybe he could have done better on the freekick and he made one bad kick but he is the reason we are still in this league, i think it would have been all too possible that we would have been in a serious relegation battle last season without him. F***ing great day again for us, we've got a habit of beating the big boys (as thats what Charlton are to Wycombe) in the cups.

 

It would make my year if the Toon knocked out Chelsea tomorrow and got Wycombe in the semis. That way even if Newcastle lost I'd at least have a chance to see my hometown club play in the final of the league cup no less!
