  1. MYM would probably benefit from starting as full back tbh, would give him a chance to adjust to the playing style and get used to how we defend as a unit from a less pressurised position.
  2. Class run by Ronaldo highlighted there, that's what Gouffran occasionally does for us but nowhere near enough.
  3. We're missing power in the middle and intelligence and creativity up top, we have the resources to increase the chances of our strategy being more effective, even if it is ultimately too basic, but the manager isn't making logical decisions.
  4. Real should have 3 Shocking misses here. Cracking game mind.
  5. Sissoko would be great in that Spurs team alongside Sandro, but they already have Dembele to do the box-to-box stuff. They won't go for Cabaye either, they've got Holtby who has a tremendous future.
  6. Just out of interest.. if Ben Arfa does stay beyond this summer, I assume you will retract that? He still might if a positive manager is installed and some ambition shown. I doubt it like but I wouldn't discount the possibility. Under this mug, no chance. I think we've seriously blown it with regards keeping our top players. This. It might have been different if we'd actually had a good second half to the season but we haven't, it's been utterly embarrassing despite having a far better team to work with compared to the first half of the campaign. The players aren't mugs, they'll have realised by now that he's a busted flush.
  7. It's this kind of stuff that's going to force Ashley's hand, players wanting to move. He's all about maximising assets but if his assets aren't happy simply because of the manager, then I imagine he'll give the manager the bullet. Ben Arfa's an ambitious lad, I wouldn't be surprised if he was looking to go to a contending club, he could actually play with a proper coach for starters. What kind of footballer is going to want to stay here under this moron?
  8. It's worthy of a thread like, the current World and European champions look like they could well have cheated their way to the top. Absolutely ridiculous that they destroyed the bags.
  9. Don't think Colo's distribution will make too much of a difference, but his organisation sure as hell will. Taylor's a decent defender but has shown recently that he's not the type to lead, he needs someone to hold his hand, as harsh as that might sound.
  10. MYM was also fine against Lukaku too, one of the most powerful strikers in the division.
  11. You make a good point about what the players were sold when they joined. Can imagine that is a huge factor in all of this. We've got a project, to be a top 4 team and play attacking football. 3 months later... Sent out on a suicide mission to grind out a point at home when we're in desperate need for 3. Why wouldn't they be exasperated, it's an absolute joke. Has this been the worst managerial performance ever in the Premier League, considering what Pardew's had at his disposal?
  12. I find the whole thing very worthy..... as soon as we start to struggle people resort to clichés and stereotypes and ignore what the real problems are. The whole this wouldn't happen with english players lark is even worse This is symbolic of such a situation. When the shit's hit the fan, people get angry at a bunch of stuff, even if it's largely irrelevant.
  13. Aye, worrying that these are being leaked now.
  14. Edwards' article says players are too interested in worrying about tactics rather than the team's demise. Err...
  15. Expect to see a similar article from Edwards tomorrow, that'll be his juicy news.
  16. Aye, they seemingly can't handle being at home right now.
  17. Aye who aren't being played in centre midfield. Cabaye started as the advanced midfield at the weekend allegedly. With one attacker to pass to, what a shambles. Have no idea why he was the furthest man back for that second goal on the weekend though. Perch and Tiote stood near the box, while our playmaker is back with the centre halves. Just what is going on?
  18. Jonas was an absolute disgrace, left Johnson to wander off time and time again.
  19. My dislike for this man just reached new levels, I think it is actual hatred and I don't think I've ever hated someone before. How shit can you be to get us in this mess?
  20. What you talking about, Wullie?! There can't be a Frenchman in a relegation threatened team, they'd just give up because that's what the French do.

Just shows how quickly things can change tbh, everyone thought they were safe but they're right back in it. Massive wake up for Di Canio, welcome to the big leagues. We won't capitalise on their shitness.
  22. Don't trust he'll make the right decisions to get us what we need, a win. He'll rely on useless shite like Jonas and Shola for their experience and they'll struggle to do a damn thing. He's not learnt a thing all year, it won't change.
  23. Exactly, it's mental. We're now one place above the relegation zone with three games left coming off a f***ing pasting at home whilst Villa just took apart a rival and moved up a place. Thought our lot were nervy in recent weeks? Try now they're staring down the barrel. The difference in momentum is like night and day. Just got to hope we come out how we did at West Brom. Hopefully now there's been a realisation we're in the shit and we need to go for points.

Glad PDC was shown up tonight, going to be interesting how he reacts to that.
  25. It's just so strange though, he didn't play at all like this in France. It's mental, seeing such changes in players. Obviously, he's struggled with the physical element at times but the basic stuff?! This is a player that was receiving serious accolades for his work last season and has had a growing reputation for a few years. You can see how uncomfortable he is on the ball as well, which again, is the complete opposite to what he was like in France. The fact players don't seem to know what they're doing, aka they're doing different things, is probably telling on the coaching side. The fact there's no organiser at the back is just compounding the issue.
