wat a nice bloke you are

It can actually because hopefully he'll be insured, we will be getting more value from him now he's injured, with the insurance company picking up part of his wages. hope old smudger is still there to keep up spirits at the training ground with his witty banter.

ive picked a team dont know fuck all about european football these days so have gone for the big names. Always need lamps as captain no matter how much i hate him
-
I dont think bruce would come. No joke
-
that statement is embaressing, over the top and thoughrally patronising and ridiculous

That's easy: The club's latest statements contradict their statements before the closing of the transfer window. Now we know that they lied. And we've all seen the interview with Keegan where he said the final decision to sell Milner was his. More lies? i honestly dont think the major falling out was over milner. i think it was more likely over the barton/ owen/ xisco/ gonzalez end day antics of the board

Apart from everything they've done since they got here? Like investing a ton of money in the academy? In revamping our scouting network? Clearing all of our debt? Well get large amounts of stock in before a closing down sale, shud make a tidy profit.

That's easy: The club's latest statements contradict their statements before the closing of the transfer window. Now we know that they lied. this aswell. the board said after keegan had resigned he had no say in this and that wheras while he was manager there were constant interviews with wise and co saying the final word was down to kev on transfers.

Sorry mate forgot ud been round ashleys for tea and a chat, I was saying basically this is purely based on paper unfounded unquoted shite and a scetched view of what ashley and his cronies are like wheras most of the pro keegan mish mash is based on his personality, people i support of him who know him and quotes from the LMA and himself.

You do realise that adsolute tosh they report in the papers about keegan having a list with 'henry, beckham and lampard' in is all stemming from that interview on radio newcastle which he said he would luv to sign henry as a fantasy player if he could have one superstar. Total newspaper bollocks for thick minded people to read. Do you really believe the likes of the mirror, scum and news of the world have insiders givving them info. It is a cover for making up a story with no quotes or slight truth in them. Dont beleive the rags! Do you honestly think that keegan wouldnt have investigated players we were after, do you really think he wasnt told how much we could spend. As for the supposed 12 mill budget we had, well that is obviously made up as the players we have signed came to about 20 mill, and we made a big bid for modric and woodgate! I hate people like you who read this shite and beleive it.

What the hell are people on about here! Must have seen at least 6 world class players mentioned in a footballing frauds thread! I would say the likes of smith, ramage and pattison would be footballing frauds, not owen, beckham, raul!, robbie keane, adebayor, terry, carragher, lampard etc surely you would have any of these so called frauds in our team?
-
I didn't think it was likely until recently - but I will say that I'd never ruled it out. It was also a possibility. We discredited the media's stories on this time and time again - no doubt sometimes they went overboard with it, but it turns out there was some truth in what they had to say. No smoke without fire and all that jazz. Why the fire tho! ASHLEY

alan smith had the fourth highest number of fouls this season in the league.

Well no... i don't really know why i'm that bothered tbh. But it's more the symbol. The main point for me isn't really surrounding this game, just that he shouldn't have come back at all (McClaren); and we could have been morphing one of Bentley, SWP or someone else as the permanent replacement, long before this point. Instead, we're still bizarrely clinging onto this apparant sentiment, for whatever reason. So true. First of all, there's nobody that's even had a chance to prove themselves on the RW because Beckham and Gerrard (who should be in the middle) have been there. Second, there's still no real indication of who the next RW is going to be. Bentley, Lennon, SWP, Dyer, and Cole have all been played there, but nobody has any clue about who can really be effective on the right. I still think Beckham could potentially be a first-teamer, but you'd have to set the team up to make up for his weaknesses. Probably not worth it in the end, time for Capello to call it a day with Beckham. Well id not be suprised if england stopped scoring if beckham was dropped, he seems to set up or score most of our goals, from watching bentley come on against usa he is still not as good as beckham and i would probally play swp or lennon as second choice to inject pace into games late on. Also DB has never has good pace although he did have a quicker accelleration earlier in his career, may i just ask what justifys playing any of the alternatives above him at this point? England were at their worst when he was dropped and our euro chances only improved after he was recalled, once again assisting a few goals. Zidane playing in the WC final when he had no pace left shows there is always a space for class.

same here. Crazy! As for the reported £8m, it would be magic! But I'll believe it when I see it. £4m for Ameobi (plus loan fee) A buyer for Rozy £6m+ for Emre Wise = Hero. Wise = Legend if he can get £7m combined for Smith & Duff. I really really doubt wise is anyway near talks with other chairmen over transfer fees

wouldnt something like a one off newcastle united 11 vs england 11 attract more publicity/ make more money for the charity? or maybe a tornament including barcelona/ ipswich/ newcastle/ psv or the likes, annually, much better idea than the shitty newcastle/ gateshead cup
