Yes it really is bizarre. I expected at least a "not in first team plans and they will need to prove themselves to me" rather than a blanket "they are all shit and can fuck off" it's hilarious. Is it even legal? I hope they get an injury crisis and have to call on some of them. Will be fun to watch.

https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/statistik/vertragslosespieler Always fun to see free agents. Presumably something happening with Rabiot, though I've always thought he's shite and a total egg.

Cancelo to Saudi really is quite a big waste. Cheap too. What a strange guy.

amazing, after publicly tanking their value for the last week.

Seems a bit odd that whole thing. Didn't realise he was English.

Weird he got sacked so promptly. Probably he was bang to rights and BBC keen to avoid any more bad press. If its just texting consenting lasses, like he says, then feels slightly harsh. If he's been a meganonce then fair enough.

Incredible fuckery by Fulham

I love how, despite the above, they started both of them today

That would be extremely funny.

I've just been saying Brian in a Welsh accent. Assuming it's a soft J

Ah man this is going to be excellent.

That is such an arsenal signing

Lukaku will exist forever. He's still only 31 somehow.

Spot the difference final boss

Only £8m bid for Thrilly Thrillmore really isn't a lot these days. He's weirdly the type of player England need. I would certainly take him at Newcastle for anywhere near that price. Only 23 too.
-
I'm unsure how he keeps getting decent moves. He isn't a good footballer and doesn't score any goals.

Frogbert "400k is good, he only had 1 year left on his contract" Also Frogbert "70m is good even though he had 1 year left on his contract" Also Frogbert "i eat concrete"

Am I going mad, and this isn't meant to be a home, but the last 2 pages are exactly the same? Edit: not now, that was weird

I think Eddie Howe will stay. It's a very exciting project here, he's been shown a huge amount of trust and I'm 99% sure there will be future opportunities for him to manage England. He could feasibly manage another 20-30 years at top level. That being said, sure it'd be hard to turn down. Would be great pay and loads of time with his, presumably, young family.

Must be disappointed, not because he simply didn't play but because he (and all of us) know he could've made a huge difference in the games. Hopefully uses it as ammo for next season and becomes a regular feature in time for the World Cup '26. He'll be 25 so great timing. Whether he's with us or not!

I'd give it a 3/10. No real memories. Enjoyed Romania and Georgia as they attacked, but the rest was a dull slugfest bar the odd game. A lot of the best players didn't turn up like Mbappe, Kane etc and no-one particularly made a mark, aside from maybe Yamal.

I am just amazed that they can take such a talent and reduce it to £400k when he's still 27. It's an awful, awful result. Sure, regaining some cash is better than not getting any at all, but it literally pays Rashford for 1 week, it's effectively zero in today's world of football. The add-ons aren't guaranteed and, with Girona's links to Man City, I'm fairly sure they'll wriggle their way out of most if not all of the add-ons. If he has a decent season at Girona, Man Utd buying him back for £30m would be so on brand.

That transfer has probably cost like £56m and he has been totally ruined, appeared 35 times in 4 years in the prem and is a shell. Not sure how anyone can be happy with that deal.
