Alright, who do you suggest that is a proven goalscorer and will be capable of consistenly getting goals against the top ten? Oh, and costs next to nothing? We need a player to score against the dross in the league because that's where we will pick up our points! I couldn't care less if we can get a striker who'll score a couple against Man United or Chelsea. If we don't have someone who is happy to consistently bang them in against the bottom ten then we will struggle immensely next season.

Don't remember him ever saying how good he was. He happily sat on the bench for many games last season despite being the top scorer. Can't argue, he's a goal machine.

As a goalscorer am with Ronaldo, there was glimpses of quality on the ball at times, the fee though is about 4 times too big Eh? Are we in 1994 like? He's an international striker man (admittedly for Ecuador, but still). He scored 4 goals this season. He suffers from Martins-Dindane syndrome. Physically and athletically sound, but gash finishing.

No doubt we'll sign them for next season. Hope not. Despite the miss I'd take KPB any day of the week though. Great player.
